Non p2p accounts.

Has anyone noticed that non p2pers are getting more annoying. They do nothing but ask for weapons and armor these days...or for u to spend ur own time and get them some. Its getting annoying. Everytime I turn around another non p2per is asking me for some type of weapon or coal. Or if I am in the blacksmith there are at least 3-4 non p2pers in there trying to steal my iron or whatever I make. I know they can't but its annoying.

Its the same in the Misty Mug Tavern....they are in there all the time looking for free stuff and stealing food or drink from ppl when they are being served.

I say we add a island just for them where no boats come to or from it and have them play on that. Because this is just getting ridiculous. Please by all means leave comments to this....I am just hoping this catches someone's attention on staff who can do something about this problem.

You're a newbie talking about other newbies, and being just as annoying by massing this thread over and over in-game. There's a reason why Bomboria was changed to allow newbies to explore it, but my best guess is that you never were around to know there was a newbie isle before it got integrated into Bomboria.

Impressive and compelling argument. But I'd still go with no.

Newb island was confusing and segregated to the point that when I was on it I didn't know what to do with myself. I looked on my f7 and saw there were 75 people on, yet I couldn't find a single soul. That's pretty depressing and probably lost more players than it enticed into using the game.

Actually I was around when tutorial island was around and don't call me a noob. Hours don't mean a thing you know. You have ur opinion though. So please keep spouting it and I will be sure to ignore it. I brought up a issue that probably alot of ppl don't care to discuss but it most likely bothers them.

So please on with the topic.

Maybe having tutorial island would entice the non p2pers to pay for a classic, gold or vip account. Because I was like that too...ppl weren't on tutorial island when I was on it. That prompted me to getting a gold account.

Bring back the newb island, it does get very annoying when trials follow you everywhere >.<

Yeah, but you also had no idea of what the game was really like before you subscribed, either.

It is also very annoying when you're new to be shunned by more experienced players as well. Make sure you put yourself in their shoes.

Tutorial island wasn't integrated without any reason into Bomboria. It was a decision by the managers of Graal.
I agree that the trials sometimes can be a pest . On my opinion is the main problem, they are not able to craft any weapons to defend their life. Maybe Björn and / or Stefan can give us a little support.

That bonus system does sound pretty cool. Not to mention, helping newbs may get them to stop their noobish tendencies.

As for the tutorial island, noobs could defend themselves when exploring the island. I used to make a bamboo stick to defend myself. I also noticed you could make shields and a dagger. You could also make a bow, but I don't remember finding any place that made arrows.

When I was on newb island I made a 'shield', with the old HSoD gfx. I wish I didn't sell that to an NPC. I was such a noob.

I also made a dagger of some sort.

Wow is it bad today. 2 non p2p's were scamming customers in the MMT. And one earlier tried to sell me stuff for plat..including 1 silver. I still say bring back Tutorial Island and stick them there. That way they aren't in our hair.

Draenin.. newsflash. The majority of us had a cakewalk on Newb Island (seriously... that was the easiest part of Graal I ever did, and I did it alone)

Just because you were too naive to follow the markers on the minimap to the monsters and the island doesn't mean the rest of the players were, so before you call Raven newb again, do remember that he didn't take Tylenol while going th rough the tutorial island - apparently, you did.

When newbs ask for weapons and other stuffs, I like telling them how to get the stuff. With some direction from other players when I was a newb, I was able to find the places where I could make armor. Although, sometimes, newbs really are annoying, and ignoring them probably would be the best thing to do.

I like this idea. However, do not allow p2p in the mine that they use. Seeing as it would have to be in bomb.

I agree. It would be too convenient...maybe they can script it so p2p's can't enter that way its fair..because we have 2 huge mines.

I think it unfair that we would get access to their mines...i mean they have a hard enough time leaving bomb to goto the ones we have access too. So restrict p2p's from theirs. Or I will see another problem happeneing. 10-20 p2p's mining in the noob mine..then they will be complaining....so it will only be fair if they can only get access to it..plaina nd simple.

There should also be a way to tell if an account is trial or p2p. I've helped out many noobies on this server just to figure out that the stuff or exp I just gave them is gonna disappear. You can always ask them, but they don't always tell the truth. Maybe put it in there profile when you right click on someone. Trial or p2p should be in the profile. or make there name one certain color until they are subscribed, then their names should change colors like usual.
