I refuse to open myself to more malicious intent by signing up to that god forsaken service when there is a perfectly operation messaging system on here.

Of course, one person can only do so much. And I don't like Instant messengers, and even when I would use it, it would be once a month tops.
And I stress my first statement. Considering that most problems occur when a lot of people are online, how do you think Vulcan is supposed to take care of everyone's problems timely?

scouts dont move as fast as commando, and rifles are good even without strafe - it just takes skill.
i think remove radar, how about if your crawling you have a 50% chance for attacks to "miss" you.. because your closer to the ground - harder target.

I'd gladly help out zone - if asked. I'm not going to spend oxygen running after the position like a 12 year old schoogirl, if help is needed, people ask.

And Zone lacks all user input, so therefore, I'm not producing/posting any more ideas. All of my ideas eventually sink and die. I'll point my views to Era and GK, where i'm listened too at least.

Your idea takes too much hard work id rather just relax on my arse playing normal zone than spend years editing it to your perfection.

Please don't speak about it if you have no idea how it works, a decent scripter can have it done in a few days.

You know why people don't listen to you? Because none of them know you except from the forums... I'm not saying this just to prove my point but if you play zone more people on the zone forums will know you and will try to promote your ideas more... See this isn't about ideas here people will agree with you because of skill and friendship...

Look, Typhoon, just because Raeiphon hasn't logged over 500 hours on Zone doesn't mean people won't listen to him. In fact, I'd take one of his ideas over anyone else's who plays Zone regularly. I'd probably accept one of Ako's ideas before his, but only because I know him a little better than I do Raeiphon.

And I whole-heartedly agree with Raeiphon's statement about user input. Zone isn't a very open server, only what Stefan and Vulcan deem good enough or think of are added.

IXI taught me. He's a ****ing brilliant teacher.
Anubis also taught me, I consider him a close friend and we play often.
I also meet with several people who read my ideas and discuss it with them, if I say who I am on Zone, i'll evidently get a response concerning my ideas. I'm perfectly happy with my social status within Zone as an INTELLECTUAL INDIVIDUAL. Not some 'ub3r l33t 1mm0rt4l +3' who kills everyone who tries to have fun at the game. Mkay?

And frankly, I consider a true friend a person who disagrees with me sometimes. Having a 'friend' that mindlessly drones agreement to everything I say enrages me.

252 hours is all I need. Zone is not my thing, not with a community like this.

And that's what makes Zone, Zone! People who play Zone are usually of the age 13, yet despite this they have a mentallity age of 4!

Just saying so you all understand why everyone hates Zone. It isn't the gameplay, it's the community it has.

Actualy I believe the reason why not many people like it is because everyone's basicaly the same, powerwise, allot of people who play online games want to "Quest" for items or more powerups and such.

Yes the comunity is a part of the problem, but I believe this is the main reason why many people don't like Zone.

In response to Raeiphon and Cor's posts: I'm being 100 percent serious, if somebody from another server who has a brilliant idea posts it and I post a mediocre idea I would get more agreements than the other simply because people know me... That's just the way zone players are. I'm not trying to be rude but knowing IXI and Anubis will get you attention... Raeiphon if you wish to continue spouting insults at me it would be to my amazement if you tried in a PK area on zone...

In response to Dark's post: The average zone players IQ is the same as their shoe size, give them growth hormones for their feet and problem solved...

In response to Zulu's post: It is because unlike most online games you cannot grow levels so it's not a guranteed win that a person with 1000+ hours will win against somebody with 6 minutes...

Community is most definately why I'm choosing stop playing Zone. I can't believe that I think Era's community is better, but it is, and you can't stop me D:

But I'll log every so often, say hi, blahblahblah.

Oh, Typhoon, I don't care if you're my friend or not, but Raeiphon only "spouts insults" when he's provoked, and you're doing much more than provoking. I'm expecting some sort of response along the lines of "Are you kidding? He started it."
But he didn't. Mellow out. You too, Raeiphon. Sound like me when I'm angry with my older borther -_-

EDIT: Rawr, apparantley, my posts are getting along the lines of overly negative D: I need to think before I type more...
Also, at the top of this page o.o

I'm really starting to like you. :P

You know whats funny? If I went on Zone now and mentioned my acc name to any of the leet players, you'd probably know who I am

And behold, I am, indeed, 13 years old. Interesting isnt it? I totally agree with the statement made by someone (cant remember who) bout the IQ = shoesize theory, but i'll second that to the end, as most of my age specific peers act that same way. It's sad really, the current generation has been replaced with jocks.

I also think this has so far, been the longest thread in Zone history..

There have been longer, but I'm not about to go dig them up.
Typhoon made the comment about the IQ/Foot Size thing.
And I seriously think these ideas should be added.

He spouts insults when he disagrees, and he did start it
He will second my opinion to the end =O Even though that is true, for example, we were all being kinda mean to bbabba for awhile because he was new and nobody knew him, but I can go to just about any other forum section here, post a good idea and it doesn't get torn apart by perfectionists...

Anyway, to get back on topic, I play Era far more than I should, and I fell in love with the MK23 (era's best HG in many opinions, does 8/50 hp, .1 delay and uses the cheapest ammo availible, its baught dual wielded aswell and has 32 ammo) which in term, led me to wonder, why doesnt Zone have pistols which do little amounts of damage but are extremely mobile? Appierces has a .25 delay, apripper has a .30 delay. It may not seem much, but that .3 of a second is enough for you to be hit and killed. Having a weapon that does very little damage (such as maybe 6 dual wielded) but is insanely mobile (no delay) would probably add a whole new side to zone, and this idea isnt complex either

MR80
Pistol (always dual wielded)
Damage: 6 per dual
Delay .05
Effects: Using a mobility pistol like this allows you to boost for longer at a faster rate, but boosting uses energy which regenerates slower.

kuraiittou (cough)
Melee x2 (always dual wielded)
Appearence: Pretty much a blackened, dual wielded muramasa.
Damage: 4 per dual
Effect: Equipping the kuraiittou automatically boosts your speed by 15% (5% faster of a commando) but the bonus does not stack. This weapon has no delay, therefore it can be swung while running around. Each swing consumes 2 energy, but due to the size of the blades, energy does not regenerate while using them. There is a .3 delay after swinging the blades before you can swing them again. Being hit by this does not freeze you at all like most weapons.
Special Effect: Pressing D consumes 3 energy per second, but while D is held, you spin the blades around rapidly, deflecting at a 55% chance any energy/bullet coming towards you. This may explode explosives thrown at you, or rebound them at a 70% chance. You walk at normal speed while in this state. Walking into an enemy does 4 damage per second to them, and knocks them back 3 tiles.
Cost: 3000 from store, blades may break occassionally (at a rare chance)

dual plasmasabres
Melee x1 (can be dualed)
Damage: 7
Delay: none
Effect: You get a 5% speed bonus while wielding these. While these are out, any bullets fired at you from the front have a passive 30% chance of being rebounded, and a 50% chance of being negated. You take double damage while wielding these.
Special effect: Holding D consumes 5 energy per second, but increases your speed by 50% (not a typo). Attack is possible in this, but the damage is reduced to 2 per second and knocks the target back 5 tiles in the opposite direction it's facing

g18 has a slow delay for the person firing and kv9 does also. I believe kv9 is 9 damage per bullet and g18 is 10 damage per bullet, g18 is extremely close range and kv9 has a much longer ranger, therefore equalling them out...

As for any dual wield melee weapon you need to make a experience needed to use, I was thinking Veteran for normal wield on the mahauhama *cough* thingy... and a Sargeant or Major rank for dual wield...

I wish all of Zone's weapons did less damage, that way you see more action on the field and it can lead to a more varied weapon usage.

If they hesitate to do something as simple as add lightning element to Muramasa, doyou think they'd add that to zone? ><
Well, God speed with your quest in giving Zone a brain.
