This of course prevents most everything you said against it, exept for dropping the blade on the floor, and that dosen't seem like a large problem.
Also I stated my idea because I hoped to take advantage of the increase in activity of Vulcan and Stefan, and I was hoping maybe one of them read it. And the most important thing here which really annoyed me, and has angered me in every single Idea thread there is, people who go stupidly out of topic, like anubis saying some pure **** about event melee weapons, especialy the poison, fire and ice crap, and also completely useless posts like these:

I'm hoping your referring to EVE as your OG Sci-fi tidbit, but let me clarify something for you:
Compressing the metal in any way is going to make it explode easier. When you compress something, you're downsizing it. It's going to want to return to it's orginial shape sooner or later, and when it does, and it's electrified, poom. Humanity will also, never, ever be able to do that. We cant screw around with the molecular structure of things without something giving way in the process.
Also, alternating current through an object actually does more damage than just a singular current on all the time, as you'd weaken parts all over with alternating current while you'd damage the whole thing at once with a constant current.
Now, what I can entirely agree with is the possibility of a dual slotted muramasa, with the D key that charges the next attack for double damage but uses 30 more energy. With strategic placement of this, and stick it in a class with a speed boost, you have alot of options.
