Simple Yes or No idea thread - Lightning + Muramasa

I was just thinking maybe it'd benice to add lightning element to the Muramasa, not change it's damage or anything, simply allow for it to turn off vehicles. The reasons why I see this fitting are the following:

1)The Muramasa is the weapon that consumes most energy out of all the Melee weapons, and yet it does less damage than Plasmasabre, same damage as Electron(Which has lightning and costs basicaly 0 Energy) and a little more damage than Combat knife(Which can be thrown for more damage than Muramasa).
2)It'd add more to the futiristic sense of Zone, seeing as a normal metal blade would be somewhat outdated by that time.
3)It would help of course, in killing fleeing enemies who are using the Hoverbikes, or to kill Mechs, if in the future the Muramasa apears in a planet with mechs.
4)There's really no reason why not to add it, the Muramasa has somewhat low damage, especialy considering it's high energy cost. There's no real way this addition would make it lame, seeing as it would only affect Vehicles.

Oh and just so you know, I'm a trial now, so I can't even use the Muramasa; I'm not doing this for myself, just seemed like a nice idea.

And for those of you thinking that Lightning Element on a sword is RPGish, I didin't mean a "Magical" blade, I meant a handle which conducts electricity through the blade, I'm pretty sure that's possible.

Stop will all the "Element" talk, as it's been said so many times before, Zone is a futuristic server, no other way would I have submited this idea.

Its really no more elemental then our Beam weapon, as long as its handled the right way and isn't just some lightning sword of doom. I mean, if the metal on the sword conducts the electricity, then it actually sorta makes sense.

See, when I was saying Fire and Ice I thought of Touya right away. Why not make like Fire Sword, Ice Sword, Lightning Sword etc for event items, New items means more diversity for Graal.

Just make it a gani, because then you can do things with the sparks and stuff.

Also, its not really an enchanted sword. More of an electricity charged piece of sharp metal.

Well, sort of. Not entirely but some new idea's for event items like melee weps, people will want to win them. I think Poison Murmasa, or Ice claw or sumtin.

i dont understand why you people think elemental weapons are illogical to zone

zone is futuristic and you dont really know what we could make in the future, since it hasnt happened yet

i can SEE why you would think this way, but its not necessarily a 100% definite impossible concept

we have fire weapons now (in real life), who knows what the future leads

i can see what you all think, but it cant hurt to try out =/

I'm positively sure we can imbue over thirty thousand volts of electricity into a metal weapon without any of these happening:

1. The blade exploding from the heat caused by the electricity. Fatality from shrapnel.
2. Dropping the charged end of the blade on your foot/toe/hand/leg/*****. Fatality from electricution.
3. Accidentally brushing any item of anything over the blade while wearing it or touching it. Fatality from electricution.
4. Hitting the blade on the ground. Fatality from ground current effect.

You couldn't even charge that much into paladium without it melting. You couldn't do this ever. EVER. You can replicate the fire effect by smearing your weapon in napalm, but what good does it do? You can replicate the water effect by spitting on it, but what good does it do?

Muramasa is fine the way it is. Reduce the energy useage or how fast it swings or make it dual wieldable, and then, you have a logical thing that doesnt belong in GK.

I'm getting in other game Sci Fi here but, you could compress the metal by using the space in the electron clouds of the metal's atoms, thereby increasing its heat resistance and also strengh, preventing it from exploding, though if I'm not mistaken, that would also reduce its conductivity, but it's not really needed here since in my opinion it would only need a charge when you slash, why does it need to be turned on all the time? This of course prevents most everything you said against it, exept for dropping the blade on the floor, and that dosen't seem like a large problem.

Also I stated my idea because I hoped to take advantage of the increase in activity of Vulcan and Stefan, and I was hoping maybe one of them read it. And the most important thing here which really annoyed me, and has angered me in every single Idea thread there is, people who go stupidly out of topic, like anubis saying some pure **** about event melee weapons, especialy the poison, fire and ice crap, and also completely useless posts like these:

1. No one wants elements in Zone because its not a fantacy server. Because oh of course the 4 elements arn't real and won't exist in the future... My bad..
2. Incase anyone is extremely stupid the 4 elements are: Earth, Wind, Water and Fire.

Earth: What your walking on while on zone... I guess we should just get rid of every single tile that has anything to do with the earth.
Fire: Oh ya, bullets (not plasma) produce fire from the guns barrel. Hmm, now lets can every non plasma run we have. Not to mention every single grenade aside from tazerbomb. Oh ya, flamethrower doesn't use fire either right? Not to mention the lava cave is all about fire.
Water: Don't ANYONE tell me water won't be in the future. Theres a chance it may not be but then we won't be either so shut up. Also, its found on Zone now as well.

Wind is the only element not found on zone...
In conclusion, the ability to disable a bike with a muramasa, is a good idea.

the Plasma sabre should be able to just short cercuit(or w/e) the bike thusly Bikes r doomed

The elements will obviously stay in the future. But adding "ub3r m4g1C47 5\/\/0R|)5" that have elements on them is stupid. The game isn't supposed to be TOO attached to our thoughts on our future. It's just a theme.
