Haven't you realized yet? The Kingdoms bodies are hideous!! Bring back the freaking old bodies. I was under the impression that this was a Graal 2001 recreation, what are the Kingdoms bodies doing there?? >:[

Lance already announced that the option to choose between the old and new bodies is being worked on. Calm the hell down.

Hiddious? I actualy think they look way better than the normal bodies. Atleast they are more anatomicly correct. I cannot help the fact that you lack taste =).

I think the bodies aren't too bad i found one i like. Besides like they said the old ones are going to be implimented in a few weeks or something.

Can we also get the old heart system and sword system back? I don't like how it takes 20 hits to kill someone in CS compared to 3 in the old days.

I suggested to Lance/Nappa on Dev that the CS weapons be readjusted for the new HP system.

Ying yangs are so much better than numbers. They're something we have been familiar with since we have been newbies. The 100/100 is plain and it isn't as noticable when we are losing health.

If Graal Bomy Lands wants to be different, they should just make SSmutz's sprite the default one.

I agree, the old hit system is WAAAAAAY better, and I'm not too fond of the current one.

New bodies are much, much better for animation purposes, among other things. You can just do alot more with them. Old bodies of course will make an appearance, just hold your dang horses.

And don't give me that "anatomically correct" nonsense! This is a cartoony video game containing turtle-like creatures with no arms.

The new bodies don't match the perspective at all. The game is a top-down perspective, which is why the old bodies appear short and squatty. The new bodies look more like a side-scroller perspective, and it just doesn't fit the surroundings.

Don't even make it an option! It looks bad enough to have the new bodies there at all, but then to have them mingled in with the old bodies would just be outright ridiculous!
And I agree with the others who have mentioned this - bring back the old hearts and drop this HP percentage crap.

The representation of HP as a string of digits or as a number of yin-yang symbols being displayed is totally orthogonal to either the HP system itself and the issue discussed in this thread. Stop derailing plz.

I agree that pausing should have it's limits and maybe even be removed, in every game there are people that can't defend themselves, because in every game there's always people that are going to be better than you. When you can't defend yourself its your fault and its not the whole server's responsibility to make sure you don't die.

In short: Remove Pausing

I think he'd prefer that you not class people by when they started. You're not an oldbie just because you've been playing since 98. You're an oldbie if you've been in the community long enough to have a lot of people know you, and have contributed to the community enough, and are a respected member of the community. Also it's about how many hours you've put into Graal. Not "oh I started in 98 but I've only played Graal one time... but now I'm back, so I'm an oldbie!".

Unlike the old bodies the sprites of the new ones were made seperately thus allowing for greater gani flexibility. I was working on the Classic body ganis for 2k1 but some things just aren't possible with them, example: kun-fu...I can make 'em punch..maybe an ugly head-butt but in the world do you make them do an efficient kick?

I really hope the old bodies are being brought back. There was a poll. Old bodies won. The gani limitations kindof suck, but I would way rather be able to move around and fight in the smooth old way, then have these new awkward bodies and some ganis that look ok but contribute little to the game.

I am only playing 2k1 now in the hopes that the old bodies come back, so I can pk and spar like I used to.
