...it looks nice but hell. Need some work on your 3d stuff X_X. Luckily, your 2d is nice so that will hopefully rub into your 3d stuff heh.
What I do when I am seriously making a model is draw a 2d image of each direction (up, down, front, back, left, right), assign them to viewports, create a basic polygon shape that matches the images the closest, then place the vertexes on the significant curves and add more as needed. Usually that will get you a damn nice model. Once the basics are set get rid of the background image and use intuition and basic design to make it look the way it needs to.
Anyway, modeling is the easy part. Once you're in the skinning phase...whew, good lord, have fun with that on the complex models if you are trying to make something realistic. |
