The problem with message boards is people get so confident behind the mask of the internet that simple "criticism" grows into major flaming, and people act just plain rude. This type of "criticism" does deserve deleting and closing of threads.

People just need to be more civil online. Don't act any more obnoxiously or rude to anyone than you would a stranger in real life.

People would behave differently towards towards a person online than they would towards the same person in real life. The fact is that the general rules online are different from those in real life.

The post that was deleted by Moonie in this "Malinko Rumour" thread was me attacking Okilian.

Basically, Okilian posted that I sucked up to Stefan to becoming apart of the Playerworld Administration and I replied back to him saying, "That's like Sexay / Sherri Deviant SUCKING up to you to receive a Levels Team Administration job on Unholy Nation."

Maybe that's why the thread was closed because it did turn into a thread with posts attacking me. So Moonie did have a good reasoning for closing the thread.

Though I do agree with Mykel.

On another note, if you don't like me being apart of the Playerworld Administration, deal with it. Not my problem if you don't like me. I'm doing the job I'm told to do and that's the bottom line. I'll compromise with you as much as possible, but if a conflict or an issue happens, I'm going to deal with it the best way possible even if I have to be mean about it. Call it corrupt, but whatever.

Oh yeah, try something else next time, using -x/-y might hide the npc, but still, that isn't secure enough, I guess.

Oh, so Malinko adds his random npc's to other servers as well. Glad to know he does a great job .

We both know me and Malinko don't like each other, and we both got our reasons. I just wish people would see him for who he really is, and not go into the lies. Just way it goes I guess.

Oh yea, deleting posts is bad sometimes. But then how do you know what's bad or not? It's the mod's decision, but that's based on her own moral values. Do you work for the many, or for the few. Is this not a forum to express your ideas on things. Are the ideas always going to be positive, no. Most of the time, I see threads closed because it "possibly lead to flaming." Bull. Step up to the plate and face it. I know I said it before, but really, actually learn to accept the fact that not everything in this game is great, and the higher ups need to get their act together, soon.

The higherups want this forum as flame-free as possible. Casual argument/debate? Sure. But when stuff starts to degenerate into an outright flamewar, we cut it off because that's what the ups want. Don't like it? Too bad, I think.

This isn't a post to bash Malinko. And posts like those, I have no problem with them being deleted. But if you are going to delete the posts, then you don't close the thread. It defeats the purpose.

No, it doesn't
The thread is still visible when it is closed, therefore, so are the posts.
If a thread were deleted, and the posts deleted afterwards, that would be defeating the purpose....

Do you realize how bad of logic this is?

You get rid of all the negative aspects in the post and then still close it? Why do you punish the people who want to post normally for those who dont's actions? That is why you have the capability to delete a single post. It's so you can remove the posts that aren't needed.

Closing a thread should be reserved ONLY for threads that were started with an inapproaite purpose to begin with and threads such as announcements and such that you don't want replies to.

It's things like this that I complain about...

Wake up.

Oh, and don't tell me to make a support ticket. And don't close this thread.

Also, if you do delete someone's post, don't leave this as a reason:
Interesting... Mod's are most likely doing it for reason enough. Althought, of course, there is the large possiblity of it being for corrupt reasons. Now if the Mod's all got together and made a large set of rules, you realise, there will be punishments for breaking the rules. We are lucky that they just "delete" the thread or post. People tend to bash people on the forums.. or spread false aligations on the forums. I certainly have NEVER used public means to bash people. I, personally, prefer to speak to the person in particular, therefore it's more personal, and also let's not forget that many people tend to act "hard" or "show up" in front of others. Anyway it's certainly something to think about....
Anyway people I think we should all practice <3

I forum PM'ed you that answer, besides the fact that common sense should tell you that a birthday thread is not the appropriate place to discuss what was being discussed.
I mean there are 2 other threads discussing it already!

She treats us like kids. Whatever we say we are wrong and she is right. Then she say's open a support ticket.. like that ever does anything. When we ask her a question she don't give us sufficient answers.

It's kinda like saying:

Me: Hey can I go over Mykel's house?
Moon: No!
Me: Why?
Moon: Because I said so.

EXACTLY.

And to her credit, there are many members that have to be treated this way, and probably should be treated this way, but that doesn't mean you make the rest of us pay. It's incredibly aggravating to be looked down upon as if someone else is better than us.

Moonie, I'm not saying you consciously make a decision to be-little us, it's just the way it comes off.

It always seemed pretty clear to me, at least with Moonie doing the deletions.

Although, I think the point of the details is to let the person that's posting know in very few words why the post was deleted.

If it isn't understandable, then I believe that would be an excellent opportunity to use the support center.

I am sure if a person sent a ticket, that person would in return receive an answer.

Once again, this shouldn't have to be done. We are paying or have payed to play this game. We should not have to make a great effort to see why our posts were deleted. It's called customer service. You are supposed to please the people who are playing your game, not the other way around.

We don't have to prove anything to you. The Admins, however, are supposed to treat the customers with respect until they are given respect. What happened to "The Customer is always right?"

The reason is often clear. Whether or not that reason has backing by the rules, however, is often a lot less clear.

What happened to "The Customer is always right?"
Only in America, and sometimes not even there.

My motto is simple. "Don't like our service take your money and shove it and I hope you choke on it." I don't think Graal can operate this way as I doubt they have a good number of customers coming in right now, but imagine if they did. A whole lot of you would probably be pissed.

Graal's motto is similar except it is more along the lines of "Here kids. Run my forums, run my game. Let your greatest fantasies and power trips run wild. And if they don't like it.
... silence them... Oh and no refunds."

I'm not saying all the mods do it, but that ability is there for them and the potential for more to come in continues as long as players are allowed to manage most of the game.
