When generating maps I always used the level generator to generate the levels, because it would spit out a .gmap file, which is basically used as a map now. It contains all of the information (level names and orders) needed for a map to work properly.
You didn't do this, and you're not going to be able to do what you want unless you go through and list all of your levels in the right order manually. Or, you will have to generate a blank map, and put all of hte levels on there.
This is what happens when you do not keep up with technology.
