Bladesinger

I just thought what elven race would be complete without Bladesingers, or bow and spellsingers for that matter.

BLADESINGER OATH

I walk in the light but darkness surrounds me;

Mighty are the foes of my people;

I am their shield;

My blood for their blood,

My life for their life;

My sword and I are one;

We will serve our people and The Elven Way.

I have sworn this Oath upon my life;

This day and forever, I name myself Bladesinger.

Out of all the elves few are as deadly or capable as the Bladesinger. Spending most of their life mastering their chosen weapon. Although their magic is nothing compared to their melee skills, making them rely more on physical combat rather than magical. Unlike other elves who stay at home to protect the elven way Bladesinger activily enforce it by taking the fight to their enemies. Though not always as confrontation they act as diplomats first, enforcers second.

Quickly identified by their agility and grace Bladesingers are also easily identified by their beautiful (and exotic) weapons. The rythmic steps of the Bladesong (fighting style of the Bladesinger) shows them to be gracefull during battle but also position him in tactical striking positions for offense or defense. Grasping the flow of the battle around him, his feet move him through the steps needed to have the advantage

Idea for a bladesingers sword

Nice reused diamond force with ugly MS Paint-y choppily animated single-color lines. -_-

Please tell me you're not trying to be serious here. Your project consists of lines that move. This isn't work, so don't even start to act like it is.

The 'singer' weapons is a cool idea, but editing normal weapons just so they have a tiny bit of a glint isn't all that special.

It's not a bad idea, I actually like it but I wouldn't use the gfx. Try to make something original.

Draenin, since you are no longer OF this Kingdom, stay out of this Kingdom's PRIVATE affairs.

Alarico, go wreck some ships into docks or something. I have never been in Forest, fool.

And Damix is right. They're public forums.

You need to stop being so rude to others.

And I want Draenin's input on what goes on with Forest, as I have respect for what he thinks, so don't tell him not to post here.

Hey! It's the guy who was Prince of Dustari, and came back as the Ethereal Knight!

he's awesome. he's tecumseh's friend. you should listen to him.

That's a good idea, sounds quite too cliche- whilst at the same time Elves themselves _are_ cliche. I think if you remade a weapon, Double-Sided Lance type Sword a-mabob, you would have a quite Blade Singer ~ esque weapon.

The thing about Blade Singer's is that they really are just a strong, beefy Bard class. Not alot of people realise that.

Still, it fits so dramatically into the Forest idea, that it shouldn't be overlooked.

Oh, it's a cool idea. Don't get me wrong. It's just that a bit more work would need to be done than just a moving 'reflection' on a diamond force.

These aren't private affairs. This is a public forum, and in posting on it you acknowledge the potential that other people will post their opinions on it.

Deal
