This is pretty much a direct sketch from my English book. It's kind of inspired by the All That I've Got (The Used) music video artist. I did take an eraser in Painter to get rid of some of the annoying textbook lines, and I'll probably remove the rest when I've got time.


What do you think?

Well, it's kind of what I would call an emo tree-nymph. But yes, it is a tree (in fact, it started out with me drawing a tree and then getting an idea).

The dark inking look doesn't really work for something like that, not sure why though.

Looks good, all except it has no real structure. Sure, it's a tree, but where's the style? It just looked like you tried to go for something Scott~esque, and kindof got mixed up.. somewhere.
