Because in a realistic situation, it would be difficult and/or time consuming to watch and judge both players and test their roleplaying abilities. Something the manager would not have time to do. Something the Kingdoms Admin would not rank as a major priority.

If the Kingdom Admin or Manager is removing kings because someone claims the king is showing favoritism, you're going to run out of kings pretty fast.

Trust me - proving if a person can roleplay properly or not takes about three seconds.

Why are there so many bad roleplayers in GK? There are human kings there, and it's absolutely atrocious. Having human kings doesn't seem to influence roleplaying suckiness.

No Kingdoms Admin - which 2k1 has a very good one at that.

How is a Kingdoms Admin going to know every little problem that goes on? I don't see how a Kingdoms Admin is going to fix bad roleplaying when the majority of the players don't roleplay well, or don't care to.

The majority of players on 2k1 have always roleplayed...

And it's not like it would be a single person going "OH WELL LETS SEE WHAT'S GOING ON TODAY"...

Gryffon will be accepting complaints and whatnot if something happens or if something is going wrong... stuff like that. In which he invesitages.

Going by your logic free thought should be illigal because the police cant monitor a person's actions every day. And if they have Free Thought then they can break the laws.

I have a question. Which server will have the best economy? Which has the most collectable stuff planned (ie. hats/dolls/bomies/etc.)? Granted I didn't play the original 2k1 for that long (around half a year back in 2002) but I do remember loving the economy. I never really got into the roleplaying aspect of the server (was a no name guy in Zormite for a little while). The economy is what always had me hooked...well that and Counterstrike har har. Whichever one has the best economy is most likely the one I'd like to play the most (or whichever one I can get my Gray Krakken bomy back on anyway...har).

Yeah, I guess you'll have to count on an NPC to catch the bad RPers

No, going by my logic, using a calculator is more effective than asking the guy next door. To further the analogy:
Calculators do not understand imaginary numbers. Therefore, you use them, as you would use an NPC king, to the point in which they become useless. You then rely on human intervention to finish the problem. The primary tool you use is the calculator, or NPC king, but you do have the human to deal with what the calculator can't understand (e.g the Kingdom Admin deals with what isn't regulated by the NPC king). At the very least, much bad language could be filtered by such an NPC king if certain things were scripted into the toguild or whatnot, as it doesn't require judgement whatsoever. Also, quests could be assigned through the NPC king and integrated with him, instead of relying on human kings to gain the wealth/items needed to host an event which will probably consist of trivia.

No, have a Kingdom Admin by all means. However, it will be the Kingdom Admin's responsibility to catch bad roleplaying, not at all the King's responsibility. It should be easy as 1, 2, 3 to join a kingdom (if you are p2p anyway) but also easy to get banned from a kingdom (by the Kingdom Admin).
I think human kings will just try to cover bad roleplayers' tracks for the sake of having a bigger kingdom. Numbers are considered quite desirable, if you haven't noticed.
