There is only one rule regarding these two abominations: ME's evil > XP's evil. This massive quanity of evil is only surpassed by the creator of this evil, the mighty Mircosoft itself, the very source of this virulent darkness we know as 'Windows.'
On the brighter half of the dark side, however, there's win98se.

Lol and lol again. Win98se sucks and is overated. XP and 2000 work just fine.

Yes, if you like win2k's crappy compatibility and unique bugs of its own, and XP's insecurity, such as its built-in backdoor (think - remote assistance)
Though, I agree, win98se rather sucks, too, but like I said: its on the lighter half of the darkside

anyways, off-topic. *stops post*

Windows 2000 supports every device I have attached to my system with no problems. And all of the software, for that matter.

I've never had much luck with win2k ;x
worst version of windows i've ever used: winME followed closely by winNT(any version)
NT would randomly dislike software and refuse to boot, then when you fought with it enough to get it to work again, said software would be mysteriously gone... along with other random things. though Microsoft products seemed to be strangely immune to this.
