i was thinkin of makin a server myself, or just helpin a server that needs it. But, how long would it take if a server (not hosted), to be released out in the server list so everyone can play it?

Well, Stefan or some staff has to look over it, and if it is unique, it will get hosted =)

If you're starting from 'scratch', then it could take up to 9-12months or even more. I've seen Private playerworlds that have been up for 2-3 years now.

Playerworlds are something that once in every blue moon are given a classic tab spot. Zenkou has been in construction for 3-4 years now. It's finally starting to get the finishing touches added on to it.

To answer the question: it is based purely on the pace of development. The sooner you create a decent server, the faster you get it public.
