Just did this one, Its a odd shield, Rather a dark mage/sorcerer's type. I might make it a bit lighter, but tell me your CC .

I just sorta modified a zormite shield of honor.
I tried shading it but I suck at that so badly it just didn't look natural. Any pointers?

The side-view looks okay. The back-view looks like a keyhole and the front is just jech.

I'm not sure how to explain it since I don't know what program you use, but ms paint is the easiest for me for simple shading I just add darker colours to where it should be darker, like near the handle or w/e at the back of the shield.. etc.

I use Photoshop 6. Hmmm, so you say MS Paint is good for shading? I'll try it out, thanks!

Btw, what does everyone use to make gfx?

I normally use MS paint, mainly because i'm more comfortable with it. But I use photoshop sometimes for different effects. so i use a combination.

I use paint shop pro 7 too, not as much however

Nice, thought I personally don't like all the black I'm seeing; hard to see details when I'm only seeing one colour, or gray or black. But good work

Here's something I've "fixed". It looks odd but the front view wouldn't look bald anymore (head 21 / 28). I might make some haircuts or shields, but I'm kinda lazy right now .
