Doing so would obviously be a punishable offense.

Also, it would be possible to limit the use of the report button to once every x minutes, to aviod such things.

I would suggest that you allow only one report per player at any given time, and let the staff browse them via some simple list (and remove them when they're finished). The player can delete his report or append new PMs if he wishes.

This way it's more or less impossible to spam the staff. They can glance at a report and quickly see if it's genuine. If people persist in abusing the system, they can have their report rights suspended.

That's exactly what i was thinking. The report button would also prevent the change of history, which fixes the problem of players changing the history/lying when the history is sent to staff.

I will give you a situation, and you say if reporting is alright in it:

If someone pms a kid an account so he can use it for a day, the other kid is a person who likes to piss people off. He reports the pm, now the account is lieing around in a txt folder. Now, the person who has access to the folder now uses the account, finds out it has rc, logs on, asks for ip changed, destroys a server using a proxy. Now what? A server was destroyed because a kid want's to mess around.

...

1) You shouldn't be PMing your account details to stupid children anyway.
2) You really shouldn't be PMing your account details to stupid children if you happen to have administrative powers.
3) If the stupid child has been PMed the account details, HE CAN ALREADY GIVE THEM TO WHOMEVER HE PLEASES WITHOUT REPORTING THE PM.

Think

Answer to 1: What if it is the admin account, because he no longer has access to private pws?
Answer to 2: Maybe his account just expired, and he needed an account to use?
Answer to 3:
Yes, he can. But he knows he will get in risk of losing his own account as theirs a 90.00% chance.

1) He will be banned.
2) The other kid will find out.
3) Staff will tell the kid to change his pass.

And:
I am pretty sure he will not get in trouble because the person that gets the log with the account will, and i am pretty sure, delete the log and keep it for himself.

Staff, in which this would mainly be the "GP"s job to work with, should be trusted to processing such data.

Account Sharing is illegal anyhow.

I believe you are allowed to give out the admin-pw# account to a staff member. Or MANY do.

The Admin-Playerworld## account is given to the person who purchased the playerworld, which in some cases may be a GP, LAT Admin ect.

Players with a full level 4 RC can access the account options and can change the Admin-Playerworld## account to their liking.

You mean staff accounts with the right to 'Change Staff Accounts'.

How the heck does that justify giving sensitive account information to stupid children?

Uh, no. What's the difference between giving it to person X directly and giving it to him via a reported PM? This: If he reports those kinds of PMs, he's running the risk of good staff members finding it and punishing him.

Why do you take everything to the next level?

The point is...a kid is trying to be "cool". He decides he want's to quit the server and make damage to it. So, he tells him that his account expires, asks for another account to use. He, on his own fault, gives him the admin-playerworld1 account (saying the PW is #1). Now, he wants someone to trash the server for himself, so he doesn't get in trouble and has a excuse of "someone hacked the account". So, by him reporting it, the Police reads a report and notices an account. He then get's very excited he has a new account and can try to act "cool" by deleting a server and telling a bunch of friend's what he did. So, he logs on, asks for an IP change, deletes the server.

We all know it's the owner's fault for giving him the account, though so many are so trusting.

So, with this happening, wouldn't a report button be bad then?

As IF THIS HAPPENED then a report button has just trashed a server. Chances of this happening are probally 25.00% but it COULD still happen.

Anyway, it's JUST an example to put the report button in abuse.

Is that the 'rational scrutiny' level?

Or the kid just gives somebody the account information directly.

Again: The only difference is that the PM could be intercepted by an honorable staff member, making that method less efficient.

It's a stupid example. We'd actually prefer the account information to be reported, since there's less chance of it resulting in damage.
