Ol' West needs a Jump Start

Hello Fellah's.
Ol' West is trying to find decent staff that will stick with it and not multistaff and just stay on rc not doing anything..
Me , mag and Mastermind can do our share but we need help.. So here's what we are hiring.. You can see we have our gui done and most of our tiles.. We also have a Q Menu done

GAT:
We need some skilled gats to help us make indian oriented items..
Ex: (Teepee's , indian hats , bodies , Weaponary , Sceenery , Etc.)
We also need some people that know really about the Western Civilisation
To help us add on to our Tileset.. Ex: ( New house pieces like walls and windows, new ground detailing items , etc etc)

LAT:
These are important...The LAT's we usualy get lack in imagination.. They copy paste other levels and edit them.. then say that it is their's.
We need LAT's that are open minded.. To make the best of our tileset and make original but GOOD levels...We need multiple towns and our overworld to be finished... We have a temp one up but it looks too much like Era.. and that is one thing we do not want to be!

NAT: Well mag is very good and he usualy gets our stuff done.. Like our weight system , Mining system , Lumber System , Wanted System etc etc..
We just need a couple of Decently skilled NAT's that can work with Mag to help us finish thing's Faster.

I am sorry, we are not hiring the following: GP, FAQ , ET , PR.

*Note* We applied to go hosted but that's been 3 months and still no response.

To apply for LAT send 3 Lvls made with our tileset to [email protected]
Make with our tileset
addtiledef tileset_west_1.png,ol_,1 - Put that in a lvl and name it ol_(whatever you want)

To apply for GAT Send 5 Non Stolen Graphics..Made brand new.. No bodies heads etc etc unless they are made from scratch.. to [email protected]

Heh you dont know how many good ideas like that people are telling us and stuff be we are really lacking staff. We have 3 Staf Members.. a LAT: Mastermind, a NAT: Mag and a GAT: me..
So really need more help to bring it awesome stuff with what we have

That actually looks really good and original because of the setting. Hopefully the gameplay is somewhat original.

The only thing is that LAT's might not be interested due to the fact they seem somewhat limited. Atleast that's my feeling as a level maker and looking at the pics.

I had the same problem the last time i logged on. Just find a link to another level and it will load. Or you can just ask a staff member to relocate you.

Edit: We now have myself, coreys , mag , drastic vendetta and mastermind working on the server.. some progress is being made.. more are welcomed to apply .

Reviving an Old Thread.
We just went hosted and were around 30-40 on per day.. its really tough on us since we are low on staff and getting stuff developped is still going pretty slow.. Etrican is doing his job well hiring LAT's.. but we still Need GAT's.

We need GAT's that will be able to match our tileset.. and always put little, but neccesary add ons to our tileset. We also need just typical stuff like Signs, Doors , Barrels, Tumbleweeds , Cacties etc etc.

So if you would please Catch me on aim, Djinn Telvecho, and talk to me to apply for GAT. Il just need to see some of your previous work and i will give you a little test.

Unless you are saying Era is based around your eventblock system, I see no reason why using something from the server means they want to be like the server.

Ol'West looks like Era with GK content.

Obviously you havent played it recently. Unless you somehow see rusted, old looking guns on era, and a world that is mostly dirt. And if you see era's buildings as wood. O.o

Wait until we have more towns.. it will not BE Era.. sure there will be gun fights but IN TOWNS itself will be no PK Zones.. in Pubs and Saloons will be Fist FIghts only and Outside towns will be Gun Fights... If you in town and you want to kill someone.. challenge them to a duel ( /challenge account)

This is the worst server I've been on in over a year. The graphics looks awsume, but as I was roaming around, I noticed that some of the graphics were stolen. I first reported it, and the staff told me to "**** off", so then Djinn gets on, and I report it to him and show him the proof and all, and he removes the stolen graphics. What amuses me is, that the staff warp to players, pk them and then run using staff boots. What's funnier is that the owner does nothing about it. I talked to the owner and he had this to say:

WERE managing with what we have :-(

This means that Djinn does not control his staff because he fears they will quit, so he lets them do whatever they want. I honestly don't see a good future for this server. The server itself looks very nice, but the staff, well, it just seems like new players will be ran off the server the first 10 minutes of their arrival. For a server that looks so nice, I'm dissapointed. It's a shame spike quit (or atleast I figure he did since Djinn is owner?). Oh well, this is a server I will remind myself never to log on to again.
