Tumantra remake (UN)

For anyone who has ever been on UN, Tumantra is a swamp town. So basically my goal was to remake it, and keep it a swamp.

So before anyone complains about messy detail, keep in mind, this is a swamp. Swamps tend to be somewhat chaotic.

I can't really tell if I'm happy with the outcome or not though, I go from liking it, to disliking it, and back.

Opinions please!

So..your asst. manager on n-pulse and your re-making a town for UN? or....? Anyways, I guess it's better than it was. I don't remember what it looks like.

I like the level, but I'm not too keen on the houses...but I dont play UN, so I dont know what style they use...

Cluttered. Those little clusters of green tile things make it look less like a swamp. Plus they add too much order.

dirt roads look nice, too cluttered. I dont like the high amount of grass over grass tiles used. detail is alright

Okay, so I gather less of the path tiles will improve it.

Also, the houses are the same as they were previously, I did very minor modifications to them.

Just mix flora with the 2k1 slum style, and you'll have something nice to look at.

I don't like the level it's too clutterd but then again if you do upload it on to Unholy Nation it'll probably be the best level on there.

I think he was referring to the fact he was completely ignored, but I suppose it's someone's choice to help someone in need :P

I also don't think he aimed it directly it you, rather, just at anyone who ignored him.

Anyway, it's a nice level, but looking at it, I don't think it fits in with the way the rest of UN is structured and tiled.

UN is being remade actually, so the whole area will more or less blend together.

And Less fighting and more critiquing! I have about 6 more swamp levels left, I need to know what to add/take out.

Haha, sorry. It'd be a shame to see the original UN just change to over-detailed crowdedness though, but I'm not the person to decide what goes down or not so I'm all for it

I'd say holding the highest playercount for so long is an "achievement".

UN has tons of NPCs, and tons of little things to do with your time, moreso than most other servers do. I never quite understood why people think UN is so bad.

Its not a bad level, like some guys said, all the grassy stuff and tiles take away from its swampiness. 5/10.

I'm sorry, I don't like this level very much. The houses are just weird, and the house that is north-east makes me dizzy when I look at it. I don't know why. I think its off-center some how or something. e.e

The half-bush / half-sprout thingey looks dumb to me, I don't know why people use it. Just make a new plant to add?

There are too many grave-yard stone thingeys. It looks fugly.

Lots of negative because I don't think I can see anything positve from this level with all that there.

I'll even throw in a rating, though I usually never do.

I like the level

. GOod inproovement on my one (that was mine) I edited over old one, I was told not to change too much so I added house and done the other path, MY HOUSES *slaps*. Looks good though.

Well, I for one like it, it's a major improvement, and I am tired of seeing repetative flat grass tiles, I welcome clutter with open arms. Cluttered is way better than bland.
