Casting inside buildings was once allowed at first. Until people realized they could cast spells that affected the shop items. So then it got disabled.

So then they should do the obvious thing and disable the ones that affect the items.. ? Plus I don't care about shops, I just care about the trade centers.

I guess it's easier to disable them all, rather than a few. Kind of like how people say "Teenagers are stupid, and immature" because, for the most part, teenagers are; but a few are not.
