I think if a guide to scripting was made, more people would be lazy, more untrustworthy people would script, and their would be more problems.

But at the same time yes, more good people with good work ethics would script. I think it's kind of like a double edged sword in that aspect.

However I think if people truly want to learn, they will do it the good ol fashioned way.
