Illegal Item

For my PW Babylon, me and my staff have been designing somthing we call Kuros. It is sorta a mix between bomys and pets. We have original designs and my scripter is making them. They do simple functions like sleep and walk and follow the player. I was told that this is illegal if the PW is not a p2p. Could someone tell me? These are going to be very interest if I can have them made. Please help? :o

Didnt stefan say the only ganis that are illegal are complex like if there actions can be performed by a NPC then they are legal on a non-p2p server?

Well my graphic designer sent me a bmp with different angles. I dont think were using ganis. I dont know though

how would i do this? I have a bitmap and it has pictures of the Kuro walking different directions. How would I use that so that if its following the player and there walking left then the Kuro walks left too? maybe

Like its in tiles (or whatever) just like the head gifs and body and shields and stuff. So how would I get it to display which I wanted?

In a technical sense, ganis can easily be replaced by just having a sprite sheet and then using setimgpart or whatever that command is (they all sound so familiar) to set it to certain sprites. It's quite easy to bypass ganis, but it requires some patience.

setcoloreffect etc.) and complex ganis. 'complex' means
ganis (animations) that are not default animations
and do more than just display an image. Things like
skip.gani are allowed, fishing.gani not.
Using the hat thing is not allowed.

I believe ganis drastically reduce lag also.

It's illegal if you take some scripting parts, and gifs, from the bomys on graal 2001. But if you MAKE your OWN gifs and scripting then it's not illegal cause you made it. Also it cant be anything near the like the bomys on graal2k.

Non-upgraded playerworlds cannot use GANIs that are more then one frame. That is the rule that Stefan set about the use of GANIs on non-p2p worlds... don't know about the other limitations, except that you can't use lighting effects...

Ok, Kuros. What they do is follow you, and were gonna make them able to sleep and maybe talk depending on the text of what someone says. i Have the gifs from them but i dont want anyone to see till we put them up

No, you just need to put in a "canbecarried;", which I think doesn't even work on NPC Server.
