$25 Vip?

Price has jumped up $6, whaaaat? Is it just me or does this seem unfair? Compared to what little VIP does get (now).

** I would appreciate it if moderators could remove/split any posts in/from this thread that are simply flamatory or contribute nothing to the point of this thread, rather than closing the thread itself, danke. **

I am not saying it isn't affordable. I am saying what you get isn't worth that amount of money.

So? Gold got it by paying practically fifty bucks, you got it + other stuff for $20. Don't complain; they're not obligated to give you a Graal 3D preview at all.

I'm not arguing with you on that point. Things could definitely be shifted around to make VIP more appealing. I'm just mocking the people who whine about a $6 increase as if unix is personally banging their girlfriends or something. It's really not that big of a deal; it's $6.

Zone doesn't appeal to everyone, yes that is a player's decision, but it lessens the worth of VIP to the end user. Technically no, CyberJ is not obligated to provide a preview of Graal3D, however, it was 'promised' to them[1] as VIP preview, which did not happen. Sure, the preview is open now, but it is open to Gold as well, which does not foot the bill. Again, this is not about affordability, this is about wether it is worth the money or not.

Actually anyone can make a global guild. I made one before I got VIP (btw it needs members-Dark Magicites )

Not many people are going to be on graal for that 24 hours. Pus zone doesnt do anything on saturdays for VIP.

Gold got it and much more, basically anythign VIP can get, except better in most cases. Name one thing that VIP gets other than the original 30 person beta that gold doesnt. If they didnt give VIP the preview, they would actually be lieing, since when you join VIP it says you get to test previews.

Quote:

Again gold gets much more for that price, and it's worth it. The main point there
is that VIP isnt getting anything special. Want to come up with a cohesive argument?

That's not the fault of Graal, though, that's the fault of the servers. Don't rail on global administration for the faults of local administration.

The same is true for any MMO with a PVP element. You have to suck it up and deal with it, dude. Again, that is NOT the fault of the administration, so don't lay the blame at their feet.

Or you can buy Gold for $50-odd and then when Gold runs out just keep a VIP account. That's what I did. Yes, in your analogy VIP is in fact more expensive, but it's not meant as a "Buy a straight up VIP account." thing, it's an add-on/renewal thing for when your Gold runs out or if you want the minimal features that Gold doesn't offer.

The point of a business is to make money. They are raising prices more than likely because they need to so that they can keep in business and keep providing the service you are utilizing. Stuff it.

Yeah, the Graal 3D Preview was promised to VIP members. On the other side of that, nothing ever said that it would be exclusively VIP.

Ok that is understood. Now they should have a option if you want it. If not. Then pay the 19. If you want it, pay the 26

Meh, its the Holidays. Instead of decreasing the price for a period of time, they increase it forever. -.-

Its not even worth what your paying for.

Or maybe they need the money to keep running the servers that you play on.

Did you ever bother to think of that?

Are you even sure they are in the need of money to keep the servers up or they just want more money?

It's plain and simple, they raised the price for no apparent reason, usualy VIP should be informed about this kind of stuff. Now even classic people can post on the forums and if you look at the title of this forum it includes "(Reserved for Gold and VIP Subcribers)". Seems to me that maybe the price would go down a little rather go up 6 dollars.

Let's divide $25 by 12 months, $2 a month. What can you do with $2 ?

* You can not play any other Online game
* You can not pay more than 2 cakes , 2 colas .
* You can't even pay a single ticket to go on cinema

We have not raised price since 4 year, do you think it's unfair to raise the price 0,4$ a month ?

About VIP features, Lot of arguments have already be given before so i will not repeat them.

Testing new version is not something we ask you to pay for but more a privilege we give to player that support us and help us pay salaries, servers, bandwidth, office...

VIP will be able to test freely the new game distributed by Cyberjoueurs (http://www.fairyland-europe.com) , each time we can make a favor to VIP we are doing it.

The graal3d engine is now ready to make games so we will have more content in 2005 than ever. We are preparing a few surprise for VIP like the possibility to use the graal3d editor and make your 3d online village.

Hey unixmad not all of us are rich. $5 may not seem like alot to you, but it is for us. I remember when you didn't need to play for Graal at all. Thats when it was fun, but now in order to work on a UC server you need VIP/Gold. -_-

$5 is for a full year ! It mean you need to save $0.4 each month to pay that or 0,01 $ each day That's a big deal !

It was a 'Special Offer' in the first place, if people read what they were buying. Which suggested the price would increase at some point. It was $19 for a long time now.

I believe some time in 2005 you will be able to pay in your own currency, which will help with some costs as the US Exchange rate for some is playing bad with prices. With the current US exchange rate they are losing out on loads of money compared to what they used to get.

If vip doesn’t have features you are not willing to pay 26 dollars for, do not buy it, its that simple.

End of story.

EVERY (other anyway, and I don't mean "BOBS KOOL MMO!!!!") MMO on the market with PVP makes it either consentual or gives newbies a chance to get away. I'd name specific examples but it's HOMG BANNABLE!

I think it's a great deal, I'd rather get VIP + Gold for £22.00 rather than VIP itself it's only £10.00 more.

That's if I ever decide to open paypal again, I doubt I will though.

What? I can play another online game. Its called America's Army. I would of said Counter-Strike or something but you have to pay for Half-Life and stuff so. (These are not MMOPG games, if you're looking for MMORPG you do have the best deal if you actually want people to be on the server with you)

BS! They have 25 cent sodas and Little Debbie Snack Cakes for 25-50 cents each!

Have you ever heard of the 99 cent theater?
