Well, Moonie posted her opinion then everyone started flaming her. Maybe it shouldnt have been closed immediately, but she shouldve warned them, then again, if she wouldve warned them, they wouldve flamed her some more and it wouldve been closed anyways. The people posting in that thread were acting like immature children.

Thank you. Since those posts were out of line, they should've been deleted, not threads closed. If people continued to post out of line, they should've had their forum accounts suspended or something for __ amount of days. But you finally admit Moonie has closed things before they needed to be. Was it that hard? And I'm sure you would agree with me that it is good we have an active supermod, but there are times when she is a little too strict.

It's better to have someone who cares, then to have someone who doesnt care and is on once in a blue moon. Yes, she may have resolved the problem in the other thread in different ways, but hey put it this way, if she wouldve deleted them, then those people wouldve made another thread complaining and wouldve gotten themselves banned for it.

This is my exact point. A thread shouldn't be closed for some people's inappropriate actions. Those people should be penalized by their posts being deleted. And if they make a thread in protest, they should indeed be banned for some period of time. Having your post deleted is done for a reason, and all forum-goers should understand this.

I completely agree. Sadly, some people dont even bother to read let alone even skim through the rules, so then when they get in trouble, they have the nerve to complain about it.

Moonie does quite often act without looking at the whole situation.
Moonie tends to not think if it will benefit or hurt the boards when doing her "job".

Well, looks can be decieving. In other words, until we know exactly what she thinks when she reads threads, we will never know, and since it's impossible to read someones thoughts, then this is one of those "the world may never know" moment.

At any rate, you people need to learn how to obey the rules. I seem to recall a rule saying DO NOT REMAKE DELETED OR CLOSED THREADS.
