If you don't bother with a sytstem that will completely mess up and take alot of time away from you, then you're going to have to have alot of alert and active staff.

Anyways,
Birdbird said it took him like three hours to make that one level that looked a little messed up...
If it takes six hours to make one good looking level, how long will it take to finish the whole six or seven maps? This project is too time consuming, although nice and somewhat worthwhile. Graal2001 could die with Loriel and Birdbird working on 399,999 projects for Graal2002. We didn't see that many updates from them, anyway.
What a level headed post. Allow me to share my opinion.

Graal2002 is geared more towards roleplaying because a lot of people like it. However, it is not a pure roleplaying server. Every player is invited to pursue his or her own particular Graal idiom, in a way that is most fun to them. That is player freedom.

As for Birdbird, he was just blowing hard to make his work seem more difficult. Plenty of people can make levels faster than that, but Birdbird does put quite a bit of effort, I hope. Don't be concerned about that.

Graal2002 has come together exceptionally fast so far, with a small staff. Do not doubt that with the added player contributions to come it will improve rapidly.

Did you not bother to read it, or not understand it?

With Birdbird and Loriel (and whoever works on Graal2001 and Graal2002) working mostly on graal2002 constantly, Graal2001 is likely to die off. We're already getting minimum updates. Not EVERYONE wants to roleplay, you know. The others can't deal with the lag classic and graal2002 have.

I understood you. I was trying to sell you on 2002; I think you've given up on it too fast.

Yeah, 2001 may get ignored after 2002 is released.
But, you know, classic got the most updates after it was made outdated by 2001. I don't expect that everyone will abandon the server. Besides, what's the point of speculation anyway? It won't change anything.

Because Tyhm and the ones making the updates did not move to 2001.

I think Graal2002 will be great, and that some of the staff are dedicated like Kyle, Er1c and a few owners.

Graal2002 is going to take alot of updates and time. Once you get all of the levels and kingdoms made, you'd still have to update it every so often. It will take time.

Graal2001 is falling apart because of 2002 and all of these 'projects' Loriel, Stefan, and Birdbird are doing. I don't care if they take maybe three hours a day. They aren't updating 2001 and making IT better.

They are focusing on one thing, and one thing only; by the looks of it.

Wow, it looks to me like people have seen the light about the current servers. But I disagree with everyone on one thing..graal has hope and thats because of NewWorld.

I'm not sure if I'll be around when 2002 is released; the future is always uncertain. But right now, I have a job on 2001 and it's the only one I care about. Hopefully, I'll stay police chief until 2002 is offically released, and everyone forgets about 2001. That way, if I choose to leave then, I'll know I tried very hard to do something I never expected to do; manage police, or be staff in general.

Righto! But, who to hire that Stefan trusts? Even if someone did some stuff, they wont have power to upload it, and Stefan won't have time to do it. If you ask Loriel, you will get "Ask Agelaos to do it. He needs to do work."

2k1 and 2k2 and Classic are a big part of my job. I will probably be on all 3 of them when I am on usually.

I still say they should call it Graal RPG.

'Graal2002' sounds dumb.

New features came to graal that made the old tiled levels obsolete, so a new server had to be made using these new features... makes pleanty of sence to me.

If you want to keep playing on 2001, go right ahead, no one is stopping you. But please, stop complaining about it. If you don't like what you're doing then change what you are doing, don't wait for someone else to change things for you.
