lol I am an EM and he doesn't hate me. Although ET's haven't had a good run on Zone from what I have heard.

Bjorn you haven't exactly had a good run with staff. There were a few GP's that were constantly idle. Its hard to think good things with examples like that. I still don't think they need RC access. Any staff tag will show up on the list at the top so there is no real need for RC access.

Thats correct because if you read everything there is mentioned that they are not getting rights on RC anyway. Question was about accessing the RC.

First off I just want to say I'd like to assist on a FAQ team.

Then onto the RC bit. If bjorn wants faq to have RC thats fine by me a good FAQ will use it properly. If they are just idling they lose RC and FAQ thats that. If I were FAQ I'd rather have people pming my RC than my player. Then your player wouldn't be under constant PM bombardment. Also the FAQs could use the RC chat to discuss if they aren't clear on the answer. There are many good points. If the worst they can do is idle then who cares.

The main thing is getting a clear answer. Will GK get a FAQ team? If so when can we expect to see some members or tryouts?

I guess it was my first post on this faq discussion where I mentioned that we already wanted to do this but the people jumped off we asked.

And instead of asking more people you just gave up. There were far more people who would have done it had you asked.

I won't argue on the RC thing but when they start to idle on it and I start to get people complaining Bjorn I will make sure to pass it onto you. This was never about them getting rights on RC. Even I am smart enough to know that they wouldn't have anything more then just logging in.

@Sage- No offense to you but when are you actually on? I see you login to Atlantis or Zodiac all the time. I never see you on GK anymore and your a EM.

Ok bjorn I guess I have to spell this out for you. You say its a bannable offense to idle on RC for Graal Kingdoms right.

Well with the playercounts during the day due to school there isn't much in the way of questions and they would have to idle just to wait. So right there they would be banned for doing their job.

I think they should be on the server more then RC in case they need to show someone something.

Raven, you should learn with idling is I guess.
Idling is if you are logged on but you aren't at your computer so you are not able to interact. In other words have a look at some of the guys on Debug who stay online if they are actually asleep. That's idling and not if you are online and wait for something to happen to give an extreme example.

Bjorn plain and simple ITS STUPID TO GIVE THEM RC ACCESS. They don't need it. They are on to INTERACT with the players and give them help if they ask for it. That DOESN'T requre RC access. Exactly what other non noob server do that? These people are there to INTERACT with the players not sit off server on RC and probably not come on. Your making it worse for newer players.

Heck today I will use myself as an example. People have actually come to know me a bit better and I have questions thrown at me quite a bit. Today I helped two people reset and to answer their questions. Funny thing is one of them never heard of you Bjorn. Your not on enough.

I would love to do FAQ along with my EM job but I wouldn't want RC access because the players need you there physically on the server and its the better of the two ideas.

Besides if you go on staff tag of any type you show up in the playerlist under the word "Staff"
