True. I am hardly on the fourms, and when i am playing 2001 I am usally too busy working or helping others to actually show what i am really like to other people.

Also, somebody might hate you for some reason or another like somebody said with guilds, you might be the best worker and do your job, but if you do something thats SUPPOSED to be done, and someone doesn't like it, they will persuade others not to vote.

Hmm it sounds good in theory.
But hiring the staff shouldn't just based on these ratings.
It could easily be cheated and abused.

Hmm...I will be at the recieving end of anything negative with this rating system, but as long as it remains within staff it doesn't matter to me.

Imagine me, as asst. guild admin, declining a copyrighted guild tag. Now all the people who were supporting it would probably give me a bad rating, although I have done my job.
In contrary, someone would blindly accept a guild, and all it's future members are going to rate him good, while he wasn't exactly doing his job.
I think this system is a good idea, and will definately help a bit, but it won't solve all problems. Most people, probably including me, will base the ratings they are giving out on personal opinion, and won't try to be objective - maybe not knowingly "unfair", but sure not perfect.
- Just my personal opinion, and I am not saying "Remove this rating system, it sucks!!!1" but "Think about how to improve it "

On another note, and completely off-topic (besides the fact that unixmad will be reading this... hopefully), I am still confused why my ADCP Access was removed. I am indeed needing it to do my job, and was never informed of being fired, and even Tiki says that I am still his assistant. Please excuse this completely unrelated point, but neither Stefan nor Tiki could help me, and you didn't exactly make good experiences using forum PMs or email to talk to you, Unixmad.

Maybe have them write an essay on their opinion? lel. I agree with you man, however, life goes on. Improving upon it is a good idea, also in game, i hope not..."U pked me, I'm going to rate you bad!", or "You won't let me have rc, I'm gonna rate you bad!!!" I think it staying anonomious is good though. I can see it will lead twords depression for me,

the first vote for me that wasn't be was bad...

I thought i was kinda liked...*hopes it was just an accident*.

I hope this only applies to 2k1 and 2k2. Global maybe... but you'd need a pretty damn high rating. And obviously this can't have anything to do with classic or playerworlds

Good idea, but, again, people could simply bribe friends into giving them points, and then we could have incompotent staff sitting in their positions doing nothing while there's lots of players who could do a much better job.

Having our actual names registered would be nice.

Personally, I reconize people by their account name rather than in-game name, though I still try to call them by their name
