Well do you think P2P playerworld owners should be paid? I mean, perhaps a percentage or something depending on the average ammount of players on their playerworld for the month.. say, a tally could be kept.. so for example, if the playerworld does okay for one month, then the total money earned is calculated, and added to their "bank" when the money gets to a certain sum, cyberjouer(sp) could send a check to the owner. (maybe require an age limit or something)

I think this would do wonders for the playerworlds, it would also be more professional, and you have to think, if these P2P playerworlds are getting a lot of people on them, they must be getting a lot of new P2P accounts made for them (or re-upgraded for them) as well.

The more people they get, the more they get paid, so that the owners will actually put lots of effort into making their server enjoyable and trying to get people to upgrade or come play on their server (meaning more business for stefan)

To prevent cheating, the playerworlds could easily be monitored to see if there are like, a bunch of staff idling on it all day, or a bunch of fake npc servers or something..
lol arnt u a OWNER lol and wernt u offering ppl like $75 for a tileset lol u dont need it :-D

You shouldn't have to may them, as incentive, to do work. Cause once the money would stop flowing the work would stop flwoing as well...

PW owners, in general, hardly do anywork besides barking orders. So basically, if I owned a playerworld, I could sit on RC all day and have some little un-knowing newbie make good levels for me and I get cash monies.

Aside from fulfilling the PW owner paychecks Unixmad or Stefan would have to fill out more checks going towards bandwidth and server maintinence for the servers and their connections. And thats a lot of money. Some game server hosts charge anywhere between $200 and $1000 just for one game server.

Another thing is once some of the free server owners saw the p2p worlds getting cash monies they would want to upgrade their server. It tuns to be that all Graal is p2p now and 1/3 of its population has left the game because they don't want to upgrade.

Um.. no, and no.. You have me confused with someone else.. I'm making my own tileset.. I would never pay someone to make one.

*edit* What is really funny, is that there was more No's then Yes's and now there are more Yes's than No's. Meaning I guess people now want money more than they did before?
