The original 'task' was to make some new EC weapons that would remain stocked to replace the ones existing which were pretty unbalanced and random. We ended up spending a couple hours making some unique stuff (Like the Tempest) and adding half of them to the cash shop to make the release work on both sides.
There's still a lot left to do, and I'm sure Ishmael will hit every spot eventually, this was just an afternoon of us being online together.

They're meant to be really unique or niche. If you can control the pace of a spar.. Sable could act as a primary KSG, dishing out loads of damage, but if you can't handle yourself and get rushed by a navy... GG.
Trust me, you'd be itching for one of these when you are in a spar and the opponent ends up having 26 health remaining. Plus that 2 damage adds up significantly in the long run, just ask the Ares.

Crizen is pretty archaic... just looking at the code with 3 different peoples styling in there made me sad. It took a revolutionary weapon system and did just the most basic thing you could with it.. slow and boring.
Tempest took that to a whole new level, it took a ton of tweaking once I cleaned the gun up, but I think Ish found a really solid break point. It's definitely the coolest gun on Era in my opinion. Can't wait to see someone master the energy moderation and just take the endless spar approach with dodging and hitting people when they reload.
