You seem to miss the fact that two of my staff members paid for the development server out of their own pocket. We use that server for backups among other things. Having a piece of the map blocked isn't harming anyone nor is it affecting game play in any way. If a player has a house on the blocked island they can simply pm a staff member and they will be warped to their house no problem.

Tbh, asking a Staffmember for a house warp every time you want to enter your house is a bit annoying, isnt it? You should make use of the dev server, since Era is a populated Server and such things could stirr up some trouble. But I guess you do a good job, keep it up.

era's servers are so terrible that you can even lag with a 100mb connection. at my old uni, with a 500mb connection, i logged on once and my ping was 120-140ms

Probably because bandwidth and latency are two completely different things. Where was your old university? Are you aware of how the speed of light works?

yes i realise that if a server is in the US you won't get 20ping in europe. my old uni was in kingston (great london). at my house i had 50mb and when people weren't downloading stuff i'd have 160-200 with era's old server and 200-250 with its west coast server. i only tried playing graal at my uni once and i think it was when era had the its server on the east coast
