y not use that for what is meant and quit just blocking half the map off to dev on the main for when u guys can just convert it over in 1 day and have it completely uploaded ??

i think if Era Dev cant use a dev server they so much needed aka that's y they even got one cuz they cry about it then they should lose it.....

oh and the hospital is block too congraz

Era Dev had to be purchased in the first place..

so doesn't mean u guys still cry about it so long and haven't even seen one update that came out there besides move things over a gmap and call it a new gmap

I am actually inclined to agree with Rave_J on this one. Could have been done on Era Dev...

The main reason we did not want to do it on Era Dev is because of the scripts. We did not want to have to update scripts on Era Dev and fiddle with them to work on the main server. As we constantly fix bugs on the main server, the era dev server script would become out-dated.

To be quite honest, I don't see why your posting a thread about us blocking off a part no-one visited and there was no point to visit it anyway.

The mining caves were better than the normal ones, plus houses were there. How do we get to the houses and the cave now? :(

Let me start off by saying that I'm against the concept of dev servers to begin with, and that only bad & inefficient developers have a need for them. However, seeing as you DO have one, aren't you supposed to do all those script updates and bug fixes on the Dev server before applying them to the main server? Doesn't make sense that you're not.

Fixing a 2 minute bug on the main server is not worth wasting time hopping onto the dev server, changing it there then applying it to the main server.
Personally, the dev server should be used for new/in-experienced developers that might be too risky to have on the main server. Also, the trust factor that they would try and destroy the server by spawning/deleting levels.

If you ask a staff member to access your house/mines I'm sure they would help you out.

so u say its a bug..... If it takes u more then 4 days to fix a 2 min bug then u need to be fired...... SR been close for 4 days

seems not be good if it takes a co manager with suppose he says he can script but takes 4 days to fix a bug he says.... well now 5 in a hour what happen to the good managers like Chrisz and Ningnong,Snake Andy, Skyld or good gang business admins like Peg Leg or Bananas Chill like i came to know u guys killed the best server that graal has seen in a while to nothing.. i think u guys should just shut it down honestly this server sucks I'm with Chrisz Original plan make Era 2 rpg modern with graal movies and story line and quest ect

The bottom half of the gmap is being worked on, since you know it was all ocean before with no point visiting? Just wait till its open (which won't be for a good while because us too have lives and can't be working on it 24/7) then you can comment on it.

the middle was ocean bottom right u had 5 player houses,gun shop and better mines and a then the others also a hospital
the bottom left side wasn't open but it had spar complex and some houses and a weapon store

that's y there is a Era Dev server...

i still stand what i said for so long Era Staff is not a development team but more of a Hang out place like Aim
for buddies to talk in private channel without the other players to bother them

Don't forget about the shovel/shell and the flower buildings too.

When was the last time you were on era? There was no spar complex nor a weapon store on the left side of the gmap.

If you want to goto your house, PM a staff member while we get this done, simple as that.

If you don't like the server, don't play. You're not the only person that plays Era. In fact, you make up a suuuuper small proportion of all Era players.
If you want to make a suggestion, cool. That's what the forums are for. But try not to sound like a degenerate?

i never said i miss chrisz i was using him a example of showing standards of development team then what is run now...

i don't play era i log on every time i get on to talk to some people just makes me sad...

besides im talking about development so this wanna be PR/House Admin please keep your mouth zip this doesn't have nothing to do to u and i think the levels are decent the Scripts giving out a lot of lag is ridiculous prob time for the server to be rescript the ganis are poor quality need to make templates for the guns instead having alot of ganis just for guns and take the time in making all directions and not just one so when u use a key for a door u use it the right way and not in thin air the graphics are good but that's about it

Rave, I'm on a 3G connection from my phone, it's called tethering. The game runs just fine on my 100kb/s bit rate, why don't you get a better PC or something, cause I rarely experience any lag unless I'm on youtube or other types of video links that interest me.

I have difficulty comprehending what your trying to say. But why do you think we develop? Why do you think we are developing down in the bottom part of the gmap? To annoy players? No, its FOR the players. Players working FOR the players. If you don't appreciate the work put in, you are free to leave or give your opinion in a formal matter, but creating false facts and flaming development is not appreciated by any developer.

Tim my pc is a year old im running anything from BF3 to any thing as Perfect World games then when i log to Era i lag like hell idk y i have good connection no wireless and 8 GB of ram how is it false facts does the ganis look like crap poor done ??
u cant argue the guns should already been in the templates come on the bullets could be done by particle effects instead of imgs
if unlocking a bottom apartment and my body turns to air to unlock it there something wrong with the gani am i correct ? im not flaming still my original opinion was u guys could be more professional and do this on era dev then move it once its done....

Uhhhh, I'm running this game on a Mac, with 4 GB of Ram, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, and I'm on a pretty poor connection... Yet I'm not experiencing anything you've mentioned. Again, it's you.
