Declaration of the Universal Gang System

The Era Administrative body has released a Universal Gang System. This system will allow players to create their own gang for a small fee of $10,000!

You can open the main menu by pressing the O key. To the right you'll see a points board for every current gang that's signed up on Era. You can control your gang by accessing the "My Gang" menu with the button on the left. You can also check any gang invites you may have and you have the ability to transfer your gang to any current player in your gang. Your gang applications will appear under the "My Apps" tab in the "Create Gang" window.



In further detail, there is also a new raiding system! The system currently consists of three-capturable bases. In which competing gangs may fight for in a King of the Hill Format. A player must stand within the radius of the capture point and hold the point for the selected amount of time displayed. If a rival gang member steps within the radius of the capture point, the timer will automatically stop until a single gang is in the point once more.


Each base has specific requirements for point activation.
The small base (Island Base): 4 Players in-total must be ontag and invading for points to be counted.
The Medium Base (Shun Wu): 6 Players (Same Format).
The Large Base (Avant Garde): 8 Players (Same format.)

Each gang kill outside of a base is worth 1 Point.
Each gang kill inside of a base is worth 2 Points.

All players have been removed from their previous gangs and all points have been reset. We have also decided to keep parties to see if they'll be used at all. If their activity decreases we will disable the party system.

Who will rule Era, and how?
Will it be you and your Empire?
Or your enemy and his/her's faction?

Possibly the best gang system I've seen, I would just say that its unclear how to join one. I thought it was more like global guilds, like how you need to apply to join. Which would be cool. And theres a bunch of invite things. It really is confusing to me.

you have to ask one of the recruiters and they will invite you .. press "O" then "Invites" then you just accept it

There's no limit for gangs. Only one gang can be owned at a time, however.

You should have given points a purpose before releasing it, imo. Also, points should just be a measure of activity-- do not allow gangs to lose points!
