Depends on the quest-lines and story that the server provides.
A server like Classic with quests that are actually somewhat challenging and have a meaning - those keep people entertained. A linear quest system with merely talk-to quests and "Defeat this x amt of times" will quickly bore a player.
You would really need some unique stuff to keep a server reliant on quests to hold its' playercount. |
