Server Idea
Hey guys, was just thinking today and I thought it would be cool if someone made an "oldish" server. As in using predefined tiles, but do everything for a reason. The houses would be simple. They would have kitchens, beds, and residents who ask you for different favors. There would be an "adventurers pub" where you could start various quests (dragon slayer, clearing the forests of monsters, etc." On the outside there would be classic towns that would include parks, town halls, horse stables, and a dungeon. (no bush farms!)

A server based on questing? Interesting, as long as you keep quests comming out otherwise, it would kind of die.

Depends on the quest-lines and story that the server provides.
A server like Classic with quests that are actually somewhat challenging and have a meaning - those keep people entertained. A linear quest system with merely talk-to quests and "Defeat this x amt of times" will quickly bore a player. You would really need some unique stuff to keep a server reliant on quests to hold its' playercount. |

Most games do revolve around questing so...adventurer's pub doesn't really make sense unless its the kind of quests where you retrieve and return things to various people and maybe a couple ones where you may fight some monsters. Hopefully quests won't be in just one area to be unlocked and achieved. To be honest, I think you should think about it more and more, you only explained really one thing to me, questing. Tell us more, maybe a storyline?
