Although I've been authorized to pick my replacement. There are certain limitations. For multiple reasons out of the scope of this thread, the Noctorious staff team was disarmed. The team didn't exactly leave in good terms and thus, I doubt Name would trust them or they would trust Name. I do trust all of them but, even with all the power I have been given, Name has the last word on it. =/ so choosing Stryke is not an option.

If Stryke is who i think he is, he has absolutely poor managing skills and would destroy the server imo. That is of course if hes the one im thinking of.

Edit: Vman and Pelinko your argument is getting no where. I'll help you both out. IMO Vman you read his post wrong as what he was tryign to say was that a manager does not necessarily need to know how to develop. Which is true but developing is definitely a plus as then the manager can be more involved with the server. But anyways Pelikano your post was poorly written and it could easily have been misinterpreted. Your both arguing but are in the ending agreeing on what a manager should be.

I'm not interested, really.

@papajchris: What the hell do you know about me? I helped developing it from day one when it was still called The Light. Me and Ceo were managers with full RCs and we were keeping it alive. This server wouldn't even be here without me and this thread wouldn't be here either for you to talk **** about me.

I don't' think your the stryke im talking about but you definitly act as mature as him. Your showing why you can't be a manager. Although you may be a talent scripter, you can't handle one persons possible criticism.

I had tried to log into the server to even see it, though it's still staff only? z.z really? Why don't you make a small house and yard available to players or something

Your doing just fine proving my point. Anyways like everyone else has been saying, wait for a suitable manager to come around and wait for much more apps. What i'd do if i was you would be to go to a few other UC servers and see how their manager is doing. if he's good offer him the position on your server. But in all fairness i think you should pick someone from your staff team (if any are qualifed) because if you hire some random person and give him tons of rights, what will stop him from deleting everything off the server? If someone has been with the server for a long time check more into them first.

Well from my time as LAT Admin on noc, I think stryke would do a good job. I haven also seen his managing qualities when kriegzone was out. Stryke also has done a lot for the server from my time there. Another thing is, when I worked there we didnt have a lot of staff, and after Marcus or whatever his name was took my place, he did all the work himself and Im guessing he didnt like sharing power because he shouldve hired more lats.

Well, the way the team was structured was very simple, we had 3 main developers, Marcus, Angel and, Stryke. These developers are very capable and didn't really require additional help. Marcus is very perfectionist and thus, it makes sense that he doesn't hire other lats if he doesn't think they are fit for the job. Marcus remade the whole gmap at least 5 times in record time, I doubt he actually needed any help.

I think Stryke would be a good manager but, neither him or Name can work with each other and thus, he is not hireable as Name has the last word on it.

Overall the ex-staff team was one of the best staff teams I've seen in a UC server.
