Supernick's Spar Arena

We are currently doing a massive revamp and overhaul of Supernick's to give us a modern, up to date and central sparring arena. Along with updated tiling to give it a fresh new look, we are adding in the usual spar management systems such as a queue/waiting list.

However, I'm sure there are many more things which you as players would like to see in a sparring arena, be it things like seating areas or leader boards, so let us know if you have any ideas.

Essentially what you're saying is that you're turning Supernick's into Exodus' spar? Moving what we already have.

Supernicks was standing useless in the central location usually all the players idle at. At least moving the more convenient locations closer would look a lot better in the long run. Maybe not to the players who were already used to warping to exodus spar.

Unless you put a warp to supernicks, I think some people are still going to warp to exo's b/c its faster.

Supernicks does look better though, from what I saw.

Supernicks is in Graal city, which will be easier to find the spar arena by most new players.

people rarely spar in exo , there will be no difference . just that 2 spar arena ****

It's alright, but Exo's spar and this spar are so similar to UN's... would be cool to see something original like the spar Delteria has.

Can Classic come up with anything that isnt remake or bootleg as ****? Plus you guys are so concerned with keeping it "Classic" that no real improvements actually happen.

Classics staff have such low expectations.
1. Anything that's released was something that already existed in the past (in the 90's).
2. Anything that's sudgested goes against some wierd strict "Classic" rule.
3. Anything that has to do with a new way of playing, a new point a view, a new way to look at classic is automatically thrown away because communist staff.

Suggestion: When you win a spar you jump up and down in a celebratory gani, like the one used in Rock Paper Scissors or Bowling.

Essentially, unless it is just a conversion of old content (which a lot of the time it has been) they should take the same amount of time. A revamp would be taking old concepts, adapting upon said concepts and then building them. In that respect I'm not sure we've seen a real "revamp" of anything on Classic yet, nor much made from scratch for that matter.

You're making sparring too complicated. If you won, you'll know you won because the other guy would be dead. No need to start adding useless things like messages saying "YOU WON" or a victory dance.

Victory animations are used to a great effect in many games because they are cute and encouraging. You'll be pushed to find a Final Fantasy game, or even a Zelda game that doesn't animate their characters once they've achieved something. That kind of animation is used to heighten that sense of achievement you get when you've overcome something, and it actually works too. I'm not talking about some super gani effect of the player spinning their sword above their head and putting it on their back. I'm just requesting a simple gani of your player jumping up and down for 1.5 seconds and that is really not making anything complicated, just encouraging people. Text is too much though.

So again he's trying to update something that will probably last cool for 1 month, then we can wait 1 year for a next update?
It's time someone updates his position. Remove him from the spot and place someone with fresh ideas. It's time stuff is added that lasts longer then just a month, that makes you wanna come back to a server. Updating worthless crap is just stupid, as if it's gonna save your ass polo?

Polo, a good manager knows when his time has come to pack his bags and leave forever. Your time came 4 years ago. Luckily for you no one is capable enough to find a good replacement. Or maybe there is just no one.

It was pretty clear supernicks could use an update. It was just wasting space in our beloved graal city, and now maybe some use will come out of it. Then again, maybe people will still use exos. Who knows.
