If you can at least set up the gani with all your custom sprites I could probably help you from there....(just make sure they're all in the same order (sign, rock, bush, sign, rock, bush, or whatever))

lol...I found that out when I was looking at the gani for holding up the ore you just mined. There's obviously useful applications for it, but you don't want to abuse it, I'm sure it could get laggy.

ACTUALLY, since you're doing replaceani you'd need to reserve a player attribute for special occasions, like what carry sprite you're using. (you need a system npc to detect if a player is carrying something, just so you know) I'm pretty sure ATTR# works the same as PARAM# for gani sprites though

i was wondering about that...that would mean, though, that I would have to make a seperate image file for the 11 different sprites >.< Cause I was going to try and script it, but then realized that you cant set PARAMs with message codes, only atributes

or you can set attr stuff by doing

I figured I'd give it a shot and scripted it....problem is, it does not change the attribute at all and it immediately throws whatever i am carring as soon as I start moving

Um, it was actually me who said the skateboard stuff. You didn't 'make' new graphics for the skateboard anyway. you just made recolors of Tot's skateboard. And as for the instruments, with the ocarina for example, if you look at ocarina2.gani you will find that it's multi frame.

Yes, Craig. N-Pulse has Skateboards coming up. Maybe it is idea-stealing but NOT script stealing. Shadow Knight is re-scripting the whole. (He really is the good scripter N-Pulse always missed.)

replaced the 2 animations then sent into a timeout loop that checked what month it was, and then what the player was carrying...

that's probably cuz objects above the head are done by the gane engine...so if you're using a gani other than carry or carrystill I think it throws them...>.<

You cant make speacial attacks with replacegani I heard, Only thing I like about replacegani is the vertical movements, =/ it sucks

oops

i noticed that a lot of graal relies on animation detection...especially for the sword...if it doesnt use that animation, then it doesnt do damage, unless specified in an npc

What we get in return is the power to give him direct feedback and ideas for new script features (many of the commands and flags that were added in the last 3 versions were suggestions the ToT staff made, like issparringzone, replacegani, etc...)

Yes its his playground, and he adds new features that you give him into the new version. And that bullshit...
