Nah, Elk is an amazing gfxer, but Tom is better. Too bad Tom is lazy.

And Crono, I thought it was common knowledge that Tom and Elk hate each other. =0

Also will Esteria have desert/snow terrain?

Will there be cool forests? Like you go into a forest and a new gmap loads or will it be like normal Graal forests where it's just a path going through the trees?

we using a lot of small gmaps which hanging together
so a forest a city or whatever will be his own gmap with 3x3 lvls or something like this but at all a forest will be a forest
but i think in some forest we will turn off the daynight system so we can use dark colors with cool light effects in it

The small gmaps is good with me, bt 3x3 isn't. 20x20 at least for a city, 11x13 for town, stuff like that
And we should make a:
-Normal Day/Night system (citys/towns[??])
-Forest (a bit darker, like you said) Day/Night system
-Cave (if we use, darker than forest) Day/Night System

Aye, I thought that but if we're talking a massive, main city... a pretty large amount of levels should be used. Maybe not as much as 400 though.

Equating level quantity to size-guaging is relative. Layout, transportation, and content factors all determine what is too big and/or too small.

that is a real good point ;D

i think a good size would be 4x3 or 3x4 or maby a bit bigger considering the ammount of trees which takes from playablility...
