you do not realize that not everyones house is near a town, also book cases you can steal from, a book pedastel you can read the book, but the book isn't gonna get stolen, and correct me if i'm wrong, but satrek said that alchemy (on couldrons only) will soon be allowed in houses, also the cooker can't make bread, and the oven wouldn't be as big as the ones in the bakerys, having a furnace in your house could proove usefull, but you would also need an anvil, and the anvils for player houses would make things that normal ones can't (like the cooker), wich would make the furnace and anvils usefull, also all of this would be usefull for RPing, cause what if you have a important guy who lives in the middle of noware and runs a smithery? also water barrels are for cooling off hot metal, but you have to fill it with water yourself, and it can only hold water.
