Hi all,
Just want to give a briefing on the updates for the last week:
-) Two new LATs have joined us as trials (SensesFail and Green7Lmfao).
-) Nas is working on revamping old buildings and levels to keep them current. Check out the casino for an example.
-) Green is working on a new quest, and will soon start on some other levels we have been thinking of.
-) The ultimate goal is to bring back a form of house edits where you can submit payment through a gui (like the gang application window), and an LAT can approve the work and do it. The player could then lodge a complaint through the system if they don't like what was done. It would be limited to retilings of current levels; no changing the size and no adding new levels.
-) Drive Bys have been released. Buy the Drive-by gun from the Gang shop for 500 points; you can then shoot as the passenger in a car. Aim with your mouse and shoot with D. This uses uzi ammo.
-) Unlimited Ammo will no longer be stocked. Once the current stock dwindles, we will release it again as a special prize (where only a few people each week will be able to get it). This should fix a few of the problems we've been having.
-) Level themes (I knew I forgot something). Say ":themes" to toggle on and off. There's a lot more of them than when we did the trial period a while back. You should check it out; some of them are really good. Turn your mp3 volume way up in sound options to hear them better (some are really quiet).
We are working on a few cool things that should be coming out soon, so hopefully we'll have a longer list next week. I may be forgetting something here too.
Feel free to post opinions or ideas here; I will also be hosting the weekly review tomorrow around the time of Gang Events. I plan to pick 5 players and then open an event warper for the other 5.
