I'm none too happy about this. My quick little run around was more than enough to put me off.

The server is nothing but stolen graphics, unoriginal graphics, and unoriginal ideas. I love Zelda. Graal is great... people want to see something like Zelda IN Graal, but your server is nothing but stolen graphics/ideas/levels from Zelda itself. My biggest problem is mainly that there is absolutely no creativity or originality in this server. At all.

First off, the tileset... it's mostly just resized/refixed graphics from Link to the Past. The tileset is pretty, but it's the least original thing out there. I don't even like that Atlantis is using it. There are also quite a few graphics from the tileset that I'm pretty sure are for the new Atlantis project, and not part of the old tileset. The palm tree I know is from Atlantis and I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to use it. The pyramid tiles as well, I think.

There are a lot of stolen graphics. I already mentioned the palm tree from Atlantis. There are also some from Link to the Past:

The HUD is laid out exactly like Link to the Past. You have a large tree that is pretty much the Deku Tree:



Anyways. I don't know exactly what is stolen, what has permission... but that's besides the fact. My major gripe is that this server looks like people are too worried about copying that making something great and and inspired. Yes, I know Graal is pretty much originally a rip of Link to the Past but the graphics were changed to the point they're hardly identical anymore, and Graal made it its own when it made the server Classic, an original world. I think the best thing I saw on this server was a castle... and not just because it was backed by nice graphics and layout... but mainly because I think it was the only original thing on the server.

Yes, we all want a server to give us a chance to play "Zelda Online" on Graal, but I think if that is ever to be done it should be done right. Be inspired by Zelda, don't copy it. It doesn't have to be Zelda to remind us of Zelda, and I think you have crossed over the very fine line between a copy and a homage.
