Sorry, I still dislike the idea. What weapons would we "start out with?" What comes at third class? First? Etc... The point is, everyone likes using different weapons. If we all started out with the same three weapons, sure, there would be more of a goal to build up to, but not everyone's going to like those same three weapons the whole time they're a recruit or third class. I think it'll just degrade lower ranked players more, so that they can't beat a higher ranked player with bigger, better guns.

Although, maybe I have another idea. We could add a large, new stockpile of guns or tools in the traders' shops, that you'd have to buy with money. There is another requirement, though. The more expensive the item, the higher the rank you need to buy it. For example, at Soldier rank, you could buy a "light assault rifle," for $5000, but you couldn't buy a "semi-automatic shotgun" for $10,000 that's only available for Sargeant or up. You wouldn't "rent" these items, either. Once you buy them, you buy them forever. They'll usually be more expensive, as well.
