GMAPs deserve death. The terraingenerator is terrible. The idea of the server sounds pretty sound, but this whole ascension to "uber-godliness" sounds more like it should be the endpoint of the game. And I fail to see the multiplayer side of this game in point, if everyone somehow becomes a god.

The ascension would indeed be the end of the game, more or less, but believe me, it will be designed to be utterly impossible, and if by wonder anyone actually escapes, they deserve that cookie, but all in all, they will prolly just get tossed back in the abyss, but quite a bit more powerful than before, and the exit would be moved so they couldn't taint the world with an uber godly populace by telling them the way out.
