No wonder I was under the impression Zen knew nothing about this Furthermore I believe Galdor is a bad choice for a moderator. Zen is quite active on the forums, just recently he immediately moved a thread from the gfx forums to the thrashcan. Another mod isn't even neccessary...period.

I am extremley confuzed on this matter. I believe that there are many more qualified people for this job. I do not see a reason for these two to be mods, I hardley ever see them in this forum. Galdor was asking to see more images in the awards thread, I didn't even know he could draw. This just dosen't make sence to me. I can name a few people off the top of my head that have made numerous contrabutions to Graal and are very acomplished graphic artists, but for reasons of my own I will choose not to at this time.

I am not bashing either of you in either way, just voicing my opinion.

Like me, worked for GK about a year doing graphics, events and translations, doing my own playerworld to support graal, i made alot of tutorials and stuff to graal people and i made gfx for other people and answering questions + helpign them out...

Furthermore if I recall correctly Galdor was fired from his graphic position on Graal: The Adventure, didn't do anything (atleast from what I'm aware of) while he had it moderation wise. Also is really annoying ^-^ A moderation job shouldn't have to do much with how talened you are. I mean..he hardly even seems literate.

Tyrial I don't think Zen's reasoning is unjust, biased and alike but just the situation with Oasis is potentially enough to stop you from joining X_x More members aren't really neccessary either.

ohsure, it was the ghost of graal's christmas past. Either that or it was valder, in which case it will have been for the same reason; he doesn't like me. As you should know if you've read his location, Galdor is from Sweden, a non-english speaking country. He wasn't born with english, he had to learn it, and we all learn at a different level. He still make his point well understood.

Were you in the Gfx team on The Adventure at the time Galdor was a member of it? I remember clearly how Galdor used to

Oh please, this job is about moderation and knowing the language is essential. People can indirectly insult others, use words outside of his vocabulary negatively, etc and he won't be able to do a thing because he isn't capable of even interpreting it.
As you should know this forum's major language is english. Improper use and poor understanding of it is unprofessional and should be unacceptable from moderators.

Constant harrassment on player and messengers. This includes name calling, constantly wanting to argue about things I don't even care nor know about, messenging me on other s/ns after being blocked, pesters me to try and get into the GGT after being told they aren't hiring at the time and much much more.

Ah, he was telling me he didn't work there anymore in a manner which implied he got fired while I was questioning a couple of things about illegal graphics seen there. I guess "he still make his point well understood"

Of course there is nothing much to do (I mean it's "Graal: The Adventure" lol there hasn't been a major update there in ages, especially a graphical one.) No output = bad output. If there's nothing to do it results in him likely doing nothing so what determines what he's capable of? When I had nothing to do on 2k1 I made something to do. Isn't really very ambitious eh? Not saying he stinks or anything..I've never really seen anything he has done myself and from what I have heard from other members in this thread they aren't all that great so :x

How amusing. It's obvious a friend of his (seemingly MarkB,) influenced the decision of Stefan or whoever, he _must_ be willing otherwise he wouldn't have the job in the first place - unless of course the supermod or so is too incompetent to find out exactly who he is, if he wants the position, etc (certainly this isn't t he case =D) and I can go on with many other ways to prove that statement of yours foolish but I won't. Bashing? No, it's only the truth.

Did I mention there are more suitable people and a moderator other than Zen isn't even neccessary? Man, if I were Zen I'd be pissed off considering this is major disrespect towards him (especially if uninformed about it.)

Unfortunately that seems illogical. Stefan randomly decides to ask him (who like previously proven unsuitable for the job) out of the million and one graphic makers (including developers he sees daily on debug) first hand to undertake such a task suddenly and it's just co-incedance MarkB has gotten the position too? " Stefan asked Galdor to help out on graphics for playerworlds" what does that have to do with this? Why does that also make no sense? Why is going into it feel so uneccessary for me? Why not inform someone that doesn't even browse the forums that they were made a moderator? Better yet, why make them one (especially when there already is an active one?)

You don't become a moderator because you have a lot of posts. I can't speak for Markb but I know Galdor check these forums at least once a day, if not more. Alraid is a skilled artist, and that he makes gfx for the community is great, but that doesn't mean he'd do any better than Markb or Galdor at moderating the forum.

This thread overall is pretty pointless. Whoever made Markb and Galdor moderators did it for a reason (hopefully), and what we think is probably not gonna affect that persons choice. End of story, now we can all go home and drink hot choco!~
