The best option to delete the hundreds of guns the fastest would just be to remove them all, then give the 3-4 that existed back to the players who owned them. Other than that I firmly believe Chris has had his heart set upon resetting since he became Manager and despite not being totally prepared at the moment, I think it can be accomplished.

While we work on the Dev server we've removed all items that were spawned. However, since we have no way to tell if items are spawned or legit, we have deleted all items that could be spawned from all players (including in lockers and houses). You will have a message in your mailbox if any of your items were deleted. If any of these items were legit (you've had them before Tuesday), please make a support ticket in the "Police" category and request to have them added back. Once a PR has confirmed them as yours, they will be returned.

If resets just around the corner all of the motivation to do anything is shut down...why not just let people run around with 500k guns for a week or two Chris? Why go through all this trouble when you could be focusing more on the Dev?

Catbert, I found out that you and Knightess had a disagreement. If that's the case, don't drag a random persons name into it such as mine. So far, all you're doing in this thread is making unhelpful posts and bashing fellow players needlessly. I'm pretty sure that breaks 2 rules of the forum in itself.

If it's at all possible, it'd be great to keep on topic though. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure there's a crisis going on that this thread is trying to address.

Question, why do so many people want resets?
Its not going to fix anything, we'll eventually get back to where we are in the end. We should prepare for the next reset, instead of jumping blindly into it

Afraid?... pullleasseeeeeee, A game, especially a game such as this does not make me cower in the slightest. I am merely saying that instead of resetting now, we should allow them to finish what they need to in the dev server so we can reset and then get the best possible experience out of era.

An example of why I suggest this is...
PS3 took their time releasing their console where XBOX 360 rushed production. Dont want to turn this into a PS3 vs XBOX 360 discussion but because PS3 took their time, they have many things that the 360 doesnt.

As a temporary step we've tried to reverse all of the spawning. We are still working on the Dev server right now (quite frantically) and will reset as soon as possible, but we don't want to rush it and scare everyone off with a half-assed server.
