No its not. Such a system would automatically inform you of problems, but I suspect you're either too lazy or don't have the ability to have one made.

If I wanted to make a true economy I would try going with having a fixed total value of all items in existence on the server. This means that items can't just come out of thin-air or it will disrupt the economy, so places like mines would start out with a certain amount of ores such as 500,000 units of Iron, and when it runs out that's it, the mine is dried up. This means that all items would have to be constructed from their components and not whisked into existence by script.

I agree, I was doing the same on Mythic.

We already have systems like that because of staff abuse on previous versions, it doesn't pick up everything, and if we wanted we could have it pick up everything but already RC gets spammed with money trades and item drops, and anything staff does

Then get decent staff (LOL @ ATRIUS), and fix your system. Just because your system doesn't work well doesn't mean that that's the only way to make a system.

Yeah, ive recived a lot of complaints about scarknight, really I am firing game staff, they seem to do more harm then help. but fishing you cant move until after you finish the key sequence and the fish pops up or it doesnt work

It takes like five seconds for the fish to pop up after you put in the sequence (you are unfrozen after the silly sequence, then you can move around for a while before you catch the fish).

The video was mainly to show that the servers play exactly the same, not to point out little bugs.

This hasn't been a problem before, it started getting bugged yesterday, and I will notify the staff about this.

As for the video,
You should keep in mind that Atrius is also a modern server...
We will have some of our similarities and differences with Era, because of this modern theme.
Just look at Unholy Nation, Classic, and N-Pulse. They have many similarities but some differences as well...
I think Atrius is about 45% done in development, nearly close to half-way. And there is still lots more to be done like the eastern island. So I suggest you keep checking back from time to time, and you can see some things made that aren't on Era.
And as for the part where you couldn't get hurt, well you're a trial and there has been a system in the past where trials couldn't attack/get hurt but normally, if you reconnected, it would've fixed the problem...

But you have to agree that differentiation is key to succeeding as a classic playerworld. I mean why would anyone want to play something similar but have to start over.

The key unanswered question; What is being done to make Atrius Unique enough to stand out? and what ideas posted here have/are being taken on board?

I'd rather have non-interactive staff if that means they don't threaten to jail you for killing them.

The key point is the game play. The little small things you have different don't matter. The point of the server is still to make money and kill players. The little small things you have different don't matter. You need to make big differences. There are many suggestions, such as government systems, which could really improve the server.

Charlie, if you through the posts in this thread you will find a bunch and I pm'd thejames with a bunch of ideas but hes more or less ignored them. But really its up to you guys to come up with the ideas.

James hasn't been able to get on for awhile, we had a government system, we also have a stock market system that pulls tickers from a live site. It isnt released yet although it is quite awesome. As for the bodies there are mixed feelings from people some people say that they like them some say they dont, really A poll will have to be made on atrius to determine what people think

Abusive staff.

You got staff using weapons not released to the public and staff flying, yes flying. They can walk through walls, you get the picture. This doesn't seem fair to me?

Vesporia:

You log on. You get a gun. You storm into the map room, where you join a team and, with that team, compete in different battlegrounds and match styles. You communicate (hopefully) with your team, and your squad, to organize attacks against the opposite team.

We will eventually add capture points to take, more items which will aid you in your fight, and other styles of game play.

It should be very interesting once we finish, hopefully unlike anything which has been seen before on Graal.

One thing you don't realize is that Vesporia is not done. We only opened it a few times to look for glitches and get valuable feedback (which we listened to, not punished people for).

We are still working (in our spare time) to improve the game play of the server.

Based on chris description, there is no difference if you look at it that way.

imo from that perspective era and zone are enough for graal.

The point of just about any gun server is going to be to kill people. The difference is in why you kill people, how you kill them, and what you get for killing them. And what you do when you aren't killing players.

They were some of the worst guns in the game too.

Its because certain players that are to lazy to work and think everything should just be given to them have been complaining a lot

List of things you might wanna fix:

• Hide the player + name when selecting gender.
• Make ALL of your light effects take into consideration if the client has them enabled or not.
• When you're reading a sign (default say2 thingie), and press S to scroll, your character still hits. Either fix that, or script your own sign system (highly recommended).
• There are a couple of heads with no transparency set, lol.
• Oh my GOD, you're actually using my old Support System! If you plan on staying with it, you might wanna make it so it doesn't request data every time it's opened - it's a huge CPU hog on servers with a high playercount (I tried it on Zodiac).

I would find more things you might wanna get fixed, but, I'm stuck at the mining part of the tutorial since I apparently don't have an inventory. And no, reconnecting several times didn't work, and yes I'm pressing Q.

Also, your players and staff are really unfriendly. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to reply to my mass about how I open the inventory, while a couple of staff on RC were discussing usage of illegal drugs over masses.

Anyway the burning question is, why is it atruis: final stand. Whoes taking a final stand againist who? is atruis a person?

1) I agree Ziro, it seems you can't open qmenu while in the mines without restarting the client.
2)These tutorial mines made my eye's bleed at first glance.
3) Every time I have to double click an npc it takes 10 tries for me to get my mouse within the 1 pixel clearance i have to actually click correctly
4) When I fish after pressing the keys i can move. Then using the powers of jesus pull a fish from the ground.
5) Correction about heads: "Please subscribe to get more cool looking heads," No, it should be "Please subscribe to get A head".
6) Your rc head is N-Pulse's only recolored green.
7) No matter how many times I reconnect the support center screen won't go away or show me the red x with which to close it "File download: ml_guiborder.png not found"

We've had the RC head for a long long long time...The heads has to deal with Stefan not us...and Atrius has been around for a long time, so James tries to get creative and name it different things last time was like Atrius: The Final Legacy...Its basically just atrius...also as far as I know the support system was scripted by Trevor,

That's not true. Several staff were spawning items so James took away everything from all the staff. I was hired a day before he reset the staff. He decided to takemyitems because I was staff for a day.

Atrius staff were under the impression that the gang system I made was scripted by Zach (warmastersomething).

Trevor is old old old, He never stole anything..The Gang system I have no idea who uploaded it but it kind of made me mad since we used to have our own working Gang system.. I dont get where your coming from with the Qmenu almost all of our things have images your the first to complain about this, You press O to close the support center it isnt failing, and it only comes up when you press O..The Q menu failing is due to server lag

If I say a script is mine, it is. How do I know? Because I've only been working on Mythic the past years where MAX two other people have had access to NC besides me, so if I see one of my scripts on a server it's 99.9% chance that it exists in the Code Gallery.

It needs major tweaking though, it's a huge resource hog at the moment. And I don't know if I want to rescript something that I made that long ago when I was so much worse of a scripter.
