RC Problem

It started yesterday, I get on the RC and I try to put it on Graphical Mode but the darn thing just freezes on me.. When I take it off Graphical Mode it works fine but it always does it when I put on Graphical Mode. I can tell that it is going to freeze on me because when I log on with Graphical Mode there is nothing that indicates if a server is a gold server or a private server.

I'm using XP 32bit btw.

Edit: I tried opening RC from the Graal folder it works but when I try using it from the start menu it does what I said above.

There is a problem when running the program using shortcuts, apparently it isn't loading the images from the folder the program is in.

Try openning it the way I do: Click "Run..." and type in "C:\Program Files\Graal\RemoteControl.exe"... It should save it so you won't have to type it every time.

Alright thanks.. It works with the method you suggested, but it would be much easier if they fixed opening rc through shortcuts.

Are you sure it's the shortcut and not the real file? if the real rc file (not the shortcut) is not in the graal folder the rc won't work.

You should be able to put the path to your Graal folder in the "working path" option or so for the shortcut (I don't remember what it's called), which should fix the problem.

It is the shortcut, I use the shortcut it don't work, but when I go to the graal folder is does work. The RC is in the graal folder.

Whats the working path option? I tried making it compatible with 2000, but nothing changed, Graphical Menu still doesn't work.

The "Start In" option; please try setting it to your Graal folder, i.e. "CProgram Files\Graal\" or wherever you have installed Graal and see if it helps.

It works now, thanks.. Actually it wasn't a shortcut I just found out.. I just went to the Graal folder and dragged it into the start menu instead of making a shortcut.
