Look.

-Ching, and "excalibur" (lol)

Do I need dare post in regards to both of your posts towards me? It makes me immature and foolish to even respond when you can't talk to me on somewhat of an adult level that I would even care about.

From what I have seen of you both, all you do is complain and act like you are given a hard time. You _are not_ given an unfair play around here, so please stop acting like you do. If you were both removed, I would be a happy customer. If you wish to _RESPOND_ to what I have said, forum PM me if you are not banned... haha.

Will we be given a fair chance to question any infractions we receive?

For instance, I want to start a website to help with the GS2 tutorials I've been making but i'd have to resort to a domain which is not graal related. It would suck to get an infraction and then not be able to pursue the matter any further because the mods have 'made up their mind'. It would suck somewhat more if we recieved an infraction for questioning a mod's decision.

This is also why I disagree with the whole 'Don't talk about bans / infractions'. Public opinion should indeed be taken into consideration since we are the forums.

Then make a PM to a forum admin or super moderator and ask if you can.

Best way to be allowed.

The domain makes no difference, it is the content that has to be graal related.
Also, you can ask for permission for url's that you aren't sure of.

As for the other idea? I think public consideration should be taken into not so much infractures but bans. Even if you do not agree with the public opinion why must it be silenced on such matters?

To be quite honest, I've been around _alot_ longer than you have.

Even though I haven't posted on the forums for near on 3 years, if not longer, I still have viewed the forums everyday, if not every week to see what has been going on, so please don't kid yourself into thinking that I have just come out of "the blue" and tried to get in on what is happening now.

Can it not be called " Forum Strike List" or "Forum License" and cut out the driving part. As the driving part makes no sense xD

It was just for fun.
Much like when you get tickets or whatever, you get points on your drivers license that last for a certain amount of time, and when you get so many points, your license is suspended, or taken away. I think it fits.

Well IRL the cops aren't watching 24/7...so we CAN get away with things. Here it's impossible, big brother and sister are watching.

IRL, I wouldn't want to be always watching over my shoulder because I am worried about getting caught for breaking the law.

Don't break the law=no worries
Don't break the rules=no worries

Aww man, this isn't in real life. This is a moderated game. Don't mix the 2 up and think because you get away with things in REAL life, that it works the same in a game

They can always question it, if they don't understand it, or agree with it. If we think it was unfair, it can be reversed. If we deem it was fair, it will remain.
This can be done by forum PM. If the person is banned, they can use email or the support center (prefered).

But forum users can recieve infractures for supporting someone who they deem may have been wrongly banned. Moderators in the end have the final word on the matter but silencing the public should not be necessary.

No threads are to be made regarding bans. Questions can be done through forum PM, but we will not discuss someones ban with someone else. We will only discuss it with the person who was banned.

Why should the players have a say in someone elses ban? IMO, it is none of their business.

Twinny that rule has been in place for ages, and the only people who seem to break it are new members to the forums, who _DONT_ read the rules.

I seriously dont agree with the 3 points things. I bet you bans will be flying around.

How can u not insult someone without innappropriate language lol. I think this list should be revised a tad.

Hm, spamming is 1 point, i thought you would get banned for that.

The issue here is that following the rules offers you little protection, since you are often moderated for things that aren't rule violations.

Isolated incidents. What you're doing is being a vocal miniority for the actual trouble makers.

Besides, with the current rants and people like you breathing down the administrative team's neck I can't imagine it will happen that often.

Listen up. I break rules on games because it doesn't have a serious impact on what I do in real life. If I wanted a place to be paranoid about getting in trouble I'd go outside. When I feel like getting something off my back I do it here. Don't take that away too you selfish ****ers. End of story.

This is getting more than a little ridiculous. As if the forums didn't have stringent enough policies already? I've never heard of a non-free forum having so many damned bannings. I swear to god, I'm starting to think you guys want to be broke.

What an absolutely horrible idea. The people complain about the moderation being too strict, so you make the rules even more strict? I guess the customer isn't always right, eh Unix?

The problem with these rules is that they are up to interpretation of mods who a majority of users don't think properly understand them. This mis-interpretation and misunderstanding that is no doubt going to happen will make for even bigger problems.

Are you insane? 3 spam posts and you're banned for a week?

Unix, I understand that you have a game to run and a profit to make, but you do realize that alienating a large amount of your forum userbase is only going to do the opposite, right?
