Preview of the flying technology

In the forthcoming weeks we will introduce what i think could be a revolution for graal: the flying technology.

All servers will be able to use the technology very easily and make any number of flying objects (plane, spaceship ...)
The use of the flying objects will be reserved to gold and vip.

This looks AWESOME! I saw them flying around... they moved so quick, it was really cool.

Can't wait to give it a try myself

Ninja Edit: Would be awesome if there was a staff tool which allowed you to zoom out, double click a point on the map, and LEAP there!

Does that mean that you can only fly on Classic servers if you have Gold/VIP? If so I think this is a bad idea. It reminds me of those times when classic servers weren't allowed to use custom ganis or lights.

Edit: I'd like to stress that I'm very impressed by those videos, I just have a problem with the "gold/vip only" thing...

Also does the shadow get bigger as you go higher? If not it would be neat for it to do so. Along with falling objects getting smaller shadows as they get closer to the ground.

And the restriction of flying objects to Gold/Vip makes me very sad.

Wow, this is far the best update to Graal in years? Probably the best new feature ever. Cant wait! How far will the *zooming* be able to go? Please say ALOT!

I can see Era's helicopter being ten times cooler than it is now. Plus a jetpack would work perfectly with this.

, although for some transportation types or games it makes sense to limit the maximum height

Im totally gonna script automated flight path / ships for Mythic, and im sooo gonna script my own flying isle that you actually can SEE flying now.

I would say this is much of a revolution, it brings more life to the game and all but the only thing thats going to revolutionize graal is a good server that has some rlly deep gameplay that isnt horrible.

Maybe then youll start to get your name out there with other games like Rose online, Gunbound, etc. Cause at the moment Graal still isnt on Par.

Good update though I believe.

I wonder if it would be possible to have floating areas... like the sky place in Zelda: The Minish Cap... except without the map change... it'd make for some interesting level design.

Yeah, or the kingdom of zeal on Chrono Trigger except instead of ONLY the sky, you can see the Graal map on the bottom. Would look really neat and just make a nice screenshot to show off on the mainpage.

You have to fight the dragon high up in the air. You're in a hotair ballon and you have to attack it with those bombs in order to tame/beat it.

Graal kingdoms is in desperate need of this.
just imagine what can be done with this?
The world of Gk is pretty big and vast so flying over it all would be awesome!

And droppable bombs!!
Kingdom wars would be so intense and amazing!
they look too big to fit inside a house i see though, so i guess they be stealable, i hope they have ownership, like use a pet peg or something to keep it or allow them to enter houses, make a seperate house and call it your hangar.

Everyone will be able to participate in wars now, boat better watch out though.
Indeed with these things my squadron will have tons of problems.
Looks like the Tornado Squadron will have to transform into what i have always wished it to be, An Air Assault Squadron.

I'm just amazed relieved, i'm a better pilot than i am a sailor.

I like this idea it would be interesting to play with. I don't think i would upgrade jst for that seeing as its not that amazing since they have speeders on zone that they just deleted.

Ya zone had a cool thing to fly w/ but they killed it when they killed ZW z.z and they still got Speeder on the list

The speeder was too fast for such a small map, it needs an own map

They should just make a level thats flat for just speeders and mechs and make it like a gaint mech planet and get lik e a really metal looking tileset!
