And...

Now, this is after i brought it into Photoshop the other day, notice a difference? I think this would be very hard to do in MS Paint, I would fall over in awe at anyone who could acctually do that in paint...

(AFTER)

you would be surprised at what you can make and do with paint, it is just hard to find all the features. I am poor so I cant afford psp 7, ^_^, and I do some pretty nice stuff with paint.

I use paint for everything I do.

I MIGHT use Paintshop or Photoshop every once in a while, but I have no idea how to do all those effects. =/

I like using MS Paint because you have more control over what your doing instead of having a program do it for you. IT's easy to manipulate MS Paint's "additional colors" to create nifty lighting effects without having to go through all the options in PSP or Adobe Photoshop.

I could probably do all those effects with PSP without any effects (I'd get pissed at changing the colors so frequntly in paint and give up) -- but then again... why? If I could afford photoshop I'd get it in a snap... Maybe that's not a good example of what it can do... but this is:

I prefer MS Paint...And i can make make good light effects with MS Paint too. Alot of the stuff in Graal look like more of the style of things that can be made in MS Paint, so thats what I use lol. Ok i guess I can post this since its been on Babylon for a while now, its a deer I had made during the summer, before I got comfortable with my new style.

When it was scripted, I realized that the back front leg on the side views were to far out lol...looked bad in the animation to me. I never went back to change it though because it just wasnt that important lol.

You can always tell a bad artist when they use photoshop/paintshop effects on sprites and tiles.

Giving a sprite a glow effect, chrome effect, plastic effect, or using gradients is NOT giving it lighting and shading. It just looks like an image that you used a filter on. Artists around the world laugh at you.
