o_O I hope (really hope) by design you mean graphics. Because really, I believe graphcis to be at or above NPCs in importance, and ideas are second. NPCs are third but still very important - about a 35% - 30% - 27% - 8% balance I believe (Graphics - Ideas - NPCs - everything else)
1) What is the theme of your playerworld.
Hmm, probably years after the world is destroyed...so seemingly middle ages, with a touch of ruins of technology (no...there won't be stupid laser guns) under the oceans and within deep caverns o_O.
2) Who is the manager?
Well, I don't plan on giving titles to people, it only causes problems. But, I am.
3) Who is the NPC Admin for the playerworld?
Idiotic. Very stupid to have "admins" for it only causes corruption. I would rather not answer this as it only applies to PWs with a classic mind.
4) How much experience does the NPC admin and Manager have?
(please list all jobs you've held in the past)
I will only list Manager as I have no "NPC Admin" though I have people who help with NPCs.
My only experience is working on PWs for since I started graal (around year 2000, version 1.4). That is what I do, that is all I do. Though, I have had positions such as NPC admin on a few worlds, but those were times of inexperience and learning. Currently, I am working on GK and mainly on this PW.
5) About how long do you think it will take until you are ready to submit what you have created?
Another idiotic question. Games with staff of hundreds create todays 3d games, which are amazing. We are a step behind technology, but with more advanced programs...so I would say about equal to companies when they had hundreds of staff in the SNES time. What I am trying to say, is back then it took 1-3, possibly 4, years to make the superb games. I expect around the same...keep in mind by submit I mean "complete". That is to say...all currently planned/desired actions have been implemented.
Keep in mind. Skill and ability to create should not be measured by time, rather innate talent. You either can do something great, or you can't. When I first started graphics, it took a month or 2 to get to the graphics style of Murasamune. Right now I can make better graphics, faster. I feel at a certain level, you are capable of creating anything, but some things take much longer then others. The only way you progress is in the time it takes...that is where I am now. I suppose the same applies to NPC scripting, but a added optimization area, plus you need to have knowledge with math....but anyway my point was talent is main, while experience is second.
Oh yeah, and I got my ISP fixed about a day after I posted by "Bad News" thread, I just didn't bother posting on the forums
