Its bugging me..

It's nothing amazing yet, well i hope it is when its finished. But im posting because the image is generally bugging me, the perspective of the pillars dont appear right to me.

It may be because ive been working on them and they look this way to me, what do you think?

Just base colours.

The pillar width varies too much. Just stick with one size.

I'm getting kind of tired of your overuse of the pure white/highlight line on things... It's a nice effect now and then but why would a dirty gray stone have shimmering pure white at it's edge? I think you could expand a lot more as an artist if you didn't always use that same style.

Just an opinion though, I don't care to hear a million opinions about my opinion.. he posted his work here to be critiqued and I'm critiquing it.

Your sidewalk is quite nice, although I would bring the contrast down so that the pattern (assuming it's used as tiles, which you seem to present it as in the example) is less repetative.

I only have paint, and i take the colours out of real life images, its what i do for most of my stuff.

Is there a way to bring down the contrast in a certain program?

+ Thanks @ Smirt
